Join an award-winning company! Who are we? Since 1967, Toll Brothers has been building luxury homes and communities in the best locations in the U.S. Today, we’re a Fortune 500 company operating in over 60 markets. We’re the country’s premier luxury builder with the widest range of product offerings and price points in the industry, serving first-time, move-up, active-adult, and second-home buyers. Toll Brothers , America's leading luxury home builder, seeks an Applied AI Engineer to join our team at our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. What is the opportunity? The Applied AI Engineer builds the shared systems behind Toll Brothers’ AI products. The role creates the APIs, services, and AI workflows those products depend on, connects them to Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise platforms, and refines them based on usage and feedback. This role reports to the Director, Applied AI. Toll Brothers is a large enterprise with extensive data and established systems, and the Applied AI team is small enough that engineers take features from idea to production. The work spans building retrieval pipelines, debugging enterprise integrations, and shipping workflows that automate processes teams have run manually for years. What are the primary responsibilities? • Build and maintain the APIs, backend services, and AI workflows that power internal tools and customer-facing products • Integrate AI capabilities with Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems • Implement prompt chains, retrieval pipelines, and model integrations based on the Applied AI Architect’s designs • Write production-quality code with proper logging, error handling, and monitoring • Iterate through tight development cycles of prototyping, testing, gathering user feedback, and shipping • Debug complex integrations that span multiple services and data sources • Contribute to code reviews, shared libraries, internal tooling, and documentation • Work directly with Web, Sales, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that fit how those teams work • All other duties as assigned This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the nation's most respected Fortune 500 companies! Does this describe you? • Strong builder who delivers working systems quickly and reliably • Resourceful and self-directed, making progress when documentation is sparse or requirements are still forming • Adapts well to changing requirements, reprioritizes effectively, and maintains momentum • Maintains code quality under time pressure through tests, logging, and clean abstractions • Communicates proactively about timelines, trade-offs, and blockers, surfacing issues early rather than letting them escalate • Curious about new tools and techniques, and shares what they learn with the rest of the team Do you have these qualifications? • Essential: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Software Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend development • Strong proficiency in Python or Node.js • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) and building production features that use them • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party platforms • Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end features in production environments • Preferred: • Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, or similar enterprise platforms • Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, or orchestration frameworks • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines • Homebuilding, real estate, or construction technology background • Open-source contributions or a portfolio of shipped projects We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes comprehensive medical/dental, 401(k) with a company match, discounted stock purchase, discounts on mortgages, homes, and much more!
