Job description

ABOUT GREENBOARD At Greenboard, we're building the future of financial compliance. Greenboard is the unified, AI-native compliance operating system for RIAs, fintechs, private funds, hedge funds, and more. It replaces the fragmented mix of legacy tools and automates more than previously possible. By centralizing data and workflows, Greenboard helps firms reduce regulatory risk, simplify their technology stack, modernize how they run compliance, and save money. Our founding team includes engineers who have scaled products at Amazon, Google, and multiple unicorn startups. We're backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10, and other top-tier investors, and have raised over $20M to date. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard, and we're growing fast. ABOUT THE ROLE Greenboard has product market fit and is growing week over week. The category is moving our way, and a big share of that demand comes from smaller firms: independent RIAs, emerging fund managers, and early-stage fintechs that need real compliance infrastructure without a large compliance team. This seat is built for velocity. You'll run a high volume of shorter cycles, usually with one or two decision makers, often the CCO or a founder who also owns compliance. Deals close in weeks, and the number gets hit through consistency, not one big signature. Good inbound lands every week and you'll be fast on all of it. Past that are thousands of small firms that will never raise their hand on their own, and you'll go get them. You'll join a proven motion and a new revenue leader sharpening it for scale. You'll also talk to more prospects than anyone on the team, so what you hear on your calls will move messaging, packaging, and what we build next. WHAT YOU'LL OWN - The full sales cycle. First call through close across SMB accounts, with the number in your name - Pipeline, inbound and outbound. Inbound is a meaningful part of our growth today, and you'll respond quickly and thoroughly to every lead that comes in. You'll also build pipeline through cold calls, email, social, partnerships, and industry events. - Velocity. Tight discovery, a sharp demo, and a clean close on a short cycle, with a full book of deals moving at once and none of them going quiet - Fast handoffs. Get new customers through security questions and paperwork quickly, and partner with customer success so they go live fast - Feedback into the playbook. Test talk tracks, sharpen objection handling, and bring market signal back to sales leadership and product WHO ARE YOU? - Hungry. You work every lead thoroughly, you do the outbound when nobody is checking, and you do not need the process to exist before you start. - Accountable. You own the number and the forecast, you call the misses early, and you do not need to be managed to either - A learner. You take coaching directly, run the experiment, and incorporate changes quickly - Fast and organized. You can run a full calendar of calls, follow up the same day, and keep the next step on every deal clear - A clear, concise communicator who builds trust quickly with founders, CCOs, and operators - Curious about financial infrastructure, compliance, and how modern businesses manage operational risk - Located in NYC QUALIFICATIONS - 3 to 6 years carrying a quota, closing a high volume of $5k to $45k ACV B2B SaaS deals - Have built your own pipeline from cold and sustained it weekly, through list building, cold calls, cold email, and social, rather than only working inbound or a BDR list - Run short sales cycles from first call to signature in a few weeks, with a consistent monthly close rate - Forecast accurately, keep CRM hygiene without being asked, and work from data - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - Based in NYC or willing to relocate to work from our New York office NICE TO HAVE - Sold into financial services, especially RIAs, broker-dealers, or private funds - Sold to founders or small teams where the buyer is also the day-to-day user - Early-stage experience where the playbook did not exist yet BENEFITS - 401(k) with 5% company match - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - 15 days PTO + 11 company holidays + flexible sick time - 2 additional PTO days for each year of service (up to 10 additional days) - 10 remote days per year plus additional around the holidays - Bi-annual off-sites and team retreats - Front-row seat to building the operating backbone of modern finance
