• Optimize database performance by analyzing queries, indexing policies, partition keys, and request unit (RU) consumption.
• Configure and manage provisioned throughput, autoscale, and serverless capacity where appropriate.
• Implement data modeling strategies and partitioning approaches to support high-volume applications.
• Configure and manage multi-region replication, consistency levels, and high-availability solutions.
• Implement backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, including high latency, throttling (HTTP 429), query inefficiencies, and connectivity problems.
• Manage database security, role-based access control (RBAC), identity integration, and network access restrictions.
• Support database migrations, data replication, and integration with enterprise applications.
• Establish database monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with application developers, cloud architects, DevOps teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation scripts for database administration, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
