Job description
Who is Re:Build Manufacturing?
At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.
We operate an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.
The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. The Re:Build Way principles

A hands-on engineer who enjoys moving products from concept through prototype, testing, manufacturing, and production.
An experienced engineer with a broad range of electrical engineering disciplines, including analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, PCB design, sensors, instrumentation, embedded electronics, and electromechanical systems.
A curious learner who enjoys tackling unfamiliar technologies, quickly developing expertise, and applying that knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges.
A collaborative teammate who enjoys working alongside mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, industrial design, and systems engineers to create exceptional products.
A strong communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly to clients, teammates, and multidisciplinary project teams.
A client-focused professional who gets energized by understanding customer challenges, developing innovative solutions, and building trusted relationships.
Someone who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and refining prototypes, using hands-on experimentation to improve product performance.
An adaptable lifelong learner who is energized by the variety of consulting, where every project presents new technologies, industries, and engineering challenges.
Someone who is passionate about developing products that have never existed before and helping bring innovative ideas to market.
What You'll Get to Do:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Re:Build Fikst, you'll have the opportunity to develop innovative electrical and electronic solutions for products spanning medical devices, robotics, industrial automation, life sciences, and emerging technologies. You'll work throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from early concept and architecture through prototyping, testing, verification, manufacturing, and production. Your work may include designing analog and digital circuitry, power systems, embedded electronics, sensor interfaces, instrumentation, PCB assemblies, and electromechanical control systems. In our hands-on engineering environment, you'll build, troubleshoot, and refine prototypes using industry-standard laboratory equipment while collaborating closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and industrial design engineers. You'll also work directly with clients to understand their challenges, participate in technical reviews and demonstrations, and partner with suppliers and manufacturing teams to successfully transition designs into production. Every project presents new technologies and unique engineering challenges, providing continuous opportunities to learn, innovate, and make a meaningful impact.

PCB design and layout experience.
Knowledge of embedded electronics and microcontroller-based systems.
Experience with electrical design and simulation tools such as Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, or similar tools.
Hands-on experience debugging hardware and validating designs.
Organized thinkers who can guide clients through the big picture while deep diving into the technical details.
A technical multiplier who measures their own success by the growth and success of the engineers around them.
Mentors who enjoy engaging with less experienced engineers to get great work done.
Curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to continuously learn.
