Job description

WHO WE ARE Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible. We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients. In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide. Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Director of Growth to own demand generation across North America. In this role, you will build and execute strategic programs designed to generate high-quality sales opportunities across private practices, community health organizations, and health systems. You will lead our demand generation strategy, campaign performance, and marketing-to-sales funnel optimization in close collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Revenue Operations. You will determine key investment areas, design targeted initiatives for diverse buyer personas and sales cycles, and analyze performance to maximize closed-won pipeline. This is a hands-on role for growth marketers who thrive on scaling programs from 0 to 1. You should be equally adept at formulating quarterly pipeline strategy, executing multichannel campaigns, automating nurture workflows, and diagnosing performance bottlenecks. Your primary objective is to build a scalable, predictable pipeline generation engine while continually driving marketing efficiency and revenue impact. WHAT YOU’LL DO OWN DEMAND GENERATION STRATEGY AND PIPELINE - Convert NA revenue goals into quarterly demand plans, pipeline targets, and priorities based on deal size, conversion rates, sales cycles, and capacity. - Develop tailored strategies for Heidi’s priority segments and specialties, defining target audiences, offers, channels, and success metrics. - Manage the demand generation budget and forecast, providing recommendations on scaling, adjusting, or stopping investments. BUILD CAMPAIGNS THAT GENERATE QUALIFIED DEMAND - Execute integrated campaigns across paid media, email, webinars, content, and partners, selecting channels by audience and opportunity. - Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning and differentiation into compelling campaign messaging. - Collaborate with Field Marketing to link events to targeted outreach, meeting generation, and prompt follow-up. BUILD ACCOUNT-BASED PROGRAMS WITH SALES - Partner with Sales to prioritize key accounts, target buying groups, and align marketing with outreach. - Target clinician champions and key decision-makers (clinical, operational, IT, executive) using fit and engagement signals. - Leverage individual clinician adoption to drive broader organizational expansion with Product, Sales, and Customer Success. IMPROVE CONVERSION ACROSS THE FUNNEL - Lead conversion optimizations on high-intent journeys with Product Marketing and creative teams. - Create targeted nurture and re-engagement campaigns to advance prospects to evaluation and reactivate contacts. - Collaborate with Sales and RevOps on lead scoring, routing, and resolving funnel bottlenecks. MAKE MEASUREMENT AND EXPERIMENTATION USEFUL - Connect spend to qualified opportunities, pipeline, efficiency, and revenue, separating pipeline creation from influence. - Run structured tests across channels and creative with pre-defined success metrics to scale winning strategies. - Review pipeline with Sales, combining campaign data and buyer feedback to optimize for opportunity outcomes over lead volume. BUILD SYSTEMS THAT HELP A LEAN TEAM EXECUTE - Collaborate with RevOps and GTM engineering on data, segmentation, automation, and reporting for effective demand programs. - Leverage AI and automation for accurate, relevant account research, campaign production, personalization, and analysis. - Set clear briefs for internal partners and agencies, ensuring high standards for campaign execution and quality assurance. WHAT YOU BRING - 7+ years in B2B marketing, owning software demand generation or growth programs. Outcomes matter more than titles. - Proven pipeline generation record, with clear accountability for targets, program execution, spend, and opportunity outcomes. - Deep demand generation expertise across paid acquisition, ABM, or lifecycle marketing, effectively combining channels. - Strong analytical judgment to model funnels, evaluate attribution, fix conversion issues, and invest wisely with incomplete data. - Hands-on fluency with HubSpot (or similar CRMs/marketing automation), paid media tools, and analytics platforms. - Strong campaign and communication skills to write copy, brief partners, and clearly articulate priorities and results. STRONGLY APPRECIATED BUT NOT REQUIRED - Marketing experience with healthcare practices, community health groups, or health systems. - Experience leveraging individual product adoption to drive sales-led growth. - Hands-on experience using Clay or similar tools and AI workflows to optimize targeting and campaigns. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR: - Marketing meets qualified pipeline targets with segment and program visibility. - More prospects convert from interest to sales opportunities with reliable follow-up. - Heidi establishes proven, repeatable acquisition, account-based, and nurture programs. - Demand generation efficiency improves across opportunity quality, cost, and revenue. - Sales and Marketing align on priorities, qualification standards, and pipeline reviews. THE WAY WE WORK 1. Live Forever — We build for healthcare’s next decade, not next quarter. We set outrageous targets, lead healthcare forward, and follow the evidence — even when it’s uncomfortable. 2. Practice Ownership — Everyone here carries the company. We raise the bar on hiring and excellence, own the outcome end-to-end, and focus on what matters over process. 3. Move Fast, Fix Faster — The more we do, the more we learn. We ship atoms daily, learn from every release, and stay precise at pace — Heidi never goes down. 4. Get Better — The best clinicians teach. So do we. We live in clinicians’ reality, bring warmth to the work, and choose clarity over cleverness. WHY YOU WILL FLOURISH WITH US - Generous Healthcare, Dental, and Vision benefit options 90%+ paid for by Heidi - 401k with 3% match - $100/month Healthy Heidis budget - $700/year learning & development budget - Recharge Days after major pushes - The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of the leading healthtech startups
