Job description

Job Summary The Design Engineer is responsible for developing detailed Audio-Visual (AV) system designs that meet client requirements, project scope, and industry standards. This role bridges conceptual design and implementation by producing technical documentation, validating system functionality, and coordinating across project teams to ensure successful execution of AV solutions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Design complete AV systems including signal flow, schematics, rack layouts, and networked AV solutions. Develop and maintain technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Create and validate bills of materials (BOM) aligned with project scope and budget. Collaborate with sales, project managers, architects, and clients to refine design requirements. Ensure designs meet company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations. Perform design reviews, quality checks, and coordinate revisions. Support engineering teams during installation, commissioning, and system validation.
