Job description
Intuit is a global technology platform company that helps our customers and communities overcome their most important financial challenges. We help give over 50 million consumers, small businesses, and self-employed customers around the world the opportunity to prosper.
The Mission
Small businesses fuel the global economy. In the US alone, they employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs. Yet, the odds are stacked against them: one in two fails within five years. One of the most severe challenges a small business faces is managing cash flow: balancing inflows and outflows, late customer payments, funding growth, and making payroll — all while hoping there is enough left over for profit or a rainy day. At QuickBooks, we aren't just building software; we are increasing the survival rate of entrepreneurship globally.
QuickBooks Capital provides small businesses with access to credit products that improve their prospects and help them thrive. Our data shows that customers who take capital grow revenue more quickly than their peers, and our lending products ensure that customers have flexible, on-demand access to capital whenever they need it.
The Opportunity
This role owns the strategy and execution of QuickBooks Capital's Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) product — from merchant/customer experience through funnel optimization and long-term expansion. We're at an inflection point where AI is reshaping how financial products are built and experienced, and this role sits at the center of that transformation. We need a product lead who is deeply curious, moves with urgency, thrives in ambiguity, and can translate emerging capabilities into measurable outcomes for small businesses.
Why Join Us?
Impact at Scale: BNPL is a strategic new growth bet for QuickBooks Capital, one of the largest providers of financing for small businesses. Your work will shape how millions of small businesses and their customers access flexible payment options.
Autonomy: You will own the BNPL product end-to-end with the freedom to drive bold bets, run experiments, and define the strategy.
Culture: You'll join a team where the bar is high, the customer impact is real, and the opportunity to innovate is at a massive scale. And we have fun doing it!
Responsibilities
• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for QuickBooks Capital's BNPL product, from customer acquisition, customer activation to checkout experience and performance measurement
• Identify growth opportunities and innovate on the customer experience across the full funnel using AI to move faster, personalize at scale, and uncover insights
• Define and launch bold new expansion strategies for BNPL to help fuel growth of the Intuit ecosystem
• Champion the customer experience through deep empathy, research, and data
• Lead cross-functional partners from engineering to compliance to risk to ship delightful, intelligent, and responsible lending experiences for customers
• Stay current with the AI landscape, including new model capabilities, emerging tools, and research and bring a point of view on how they apply to our customers
Qualifications
• 5+ years designing and delivering world-class products in a Product Management role, with a proven track record for results. Experience with growth and funnel-optimization product management, and Fintech experience, strongly preferred.
• Fluency with AI tools. You use them daily to research, analyze, prototype, and accelerate your work. Experience building or shipping AI-powered product features is a plus.
• Comfort with ambiguity. You can define the customer problem, set direction without a complete map, and make high-quality decisions with imperfect information.
• Relentless curiosity. You follow AI developments closely, experiment with new tools and models as they emerge, and have a tinkerer's instinct for what's possible.
• Ownership mentality. You treat the product as yours, hold a high bar, and don't wait to be told what to do next.
• Technically credible. you can hold substantive conversations with engineers about LLM trade-offs, system design, and implementation complexity without needing to write the code yourself.
• Bachelor's degree required. A major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is a plus
