Job description

NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world. NVIDIA is redefining the evolution of intelligent vehicles by bringing groundbreaking AI directly into the cockpit. We are looking for a highly technical Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of next-generation in-vehicle Generative AI applications that transform the driver and occupant experience. In this role, you will work where AI, automotive systems, and user experience meet. You will own products using NVIDIA’s full-stack capabilities across accelerated computing, edge AI, and software platforms. You will build on existing in-vehicle sensing technologies such as driver monitoring systems (DMS) and occupant monitoring systems (OMS), extending them into intelligent, conversational, and context-aware AI experiences. If you're passionate about crafting human engagement with AI in real-world environments and want to build systems like or beyond Tesla’s Grok, this is your chance. You’ll be joining a team that is crafting the future of AI-defined vehicles, where software and intelligence are as critical as hardware. At NVIDIA, we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible—from autonomous driving to fully intelligent, personalized in-cabin experiences. What You’ll Be Doing: • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered generative experiences within vehicles. • Lead end-to-end product execution, coordinating every stage from initial idea through deployment, for AI-powered features that improve driver and passenger interaction. • Find opportunities to integrate LLMs, multimodal AI, and edge inference into the vehicle cabin experience. • Build products that leverage signals from DMS/OMS, voice, vision, and contextual vehicle data to create intelligent, proactive user interactions. • Partner closely with engineering, research, design, and automotive OEM customers to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. • Translate sophisticated AI capabilities into clear product requirements and user value propositions . • Drive ecosystem alignment across internal NVIDIA platforms (e.g., DRIVE, Omniverse, AI Enterprise) and external partners. • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to advise product direction. • Define success metrics and continuously optimize product performance based on real-world usage. What We Need to See: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). • 8+ years of product management experience with a strong focus on AI/ML, software platforms, or automotive systems . • Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies , including LLMs, multimodal models, and real-time inference constraints. • Experience working with embedded systems, edge computing, or automotive platforms . • Proven track record to lead highly technical products from concept to production. • Strong systems thinking—ability to connect sensing, AI models, and human interaction into cohesive products. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd: • Experience building AI-driven user experiences in constrained or real-time environments. • Familiarity with driver monitoring, computer vision, or sensor fusion systems . Hands-on experience engaging with LLMs, conversational AI, or agent-based systems. • Background in automotive OEM partnerships or Tier 1 ecosystems. • Understanding of privacy, safety, and regulatory considerations in automotive AI. • Passion for redefining how humans interact with intelligent systems in everyday environments. At NVIDIA, we’re dedicated to making self-driving vehicles a reality and believe this technology can save millions of lives. Join a team of innovative thinkers at one of the world’s most respected technology companies. If you’re motivated, curious, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to meet you! We believe that building self-driving vehicles will be a defining contribution of our generation (e.g. traffic accidents are responsible for ~1.25 million deaths per year world-wide). We have the funding and scale, but we need your help on our team. NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers with some of the most forward-thinking people in the world working here. If you're entrepreneurial and autonomous, we want to hear from you! Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 208,000 USD - 327,750 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits . Applications for this job will be accepted at least until June 7, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes.
