Product Manager at Orderly Network

Job description

Work with the best We are Orderly, the ultimate destination for decentralized trading platforms. We are not satisfied with the limitations of centralized exchanges or the complexities of building decentralized order books. We aim to make trading easy, fast, and secure for everyone. How? By fusing the simplicity of CeFi with the power of DeFi. At the heart of the issue lies “liquidity”. Builders often grapple with a paradox; traders need liquidity, but liquidity demands traders. Our solution is simple as is bold – concentrate all liquidity into one order book. One order book that connects all the liquidity in the crypto space. Our ambition doesn't stop there. We're omnichain, championing chain abstraction. We envision seamless transactions, where the underlying blockchain is merely a detail. By concentrating liquidity, we aim to redefine the crypto landscape, making bridging and wrapped assets a thing of the past. We are Orderly, and we are here to revolutionize DeFi, democratizing access to financial opportunities and fostering a fair, equitable paradigm for all. A Glimpse into Your Future at Orderly Network What will you achieve? Own and drive product strategy and initiatives across our DeFi and trading products, working closely with engineering, design, research, and other cross-functional teams to identify user needs and build best-in-class trading and developer experiences. Leverage your deep understanding of DeFi, crypto markets, and on-chain products to identify opportunities, validate product ideas, and translate market and user needs into impactful products. Partner closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints, identify bottlenecks, and make pragmatic trade-offs to ship high-quality products within time and resource constraints. Define clear product specifications, requirements, success metrics, and priorities, while maintaining a strong focus on execution and user impact. Use data, user feedback, and market insights to develop product strategies, evaluate opportunities, and drive product decisions. Lead prioritization, risk analysis, resource allocation, and trade-offs across multiple initiatives, while aligning stakeholders around clear product goals. Work closely with growth, marketing, and ecosystem teams to develop strategies that drive product adoption, market awareness, and engagement around the products and vision we’re building. What challenges will you face? A fast-moving and highly ambiguous market: DeFi and crypto markets evolve quickly, and you’ll often need to make product decisions with incomplete information. Technical complexity: You’ll work closely with engineers and need to understand protocols, APIs, SDKs, smart contracts, on-chain data, liquidity, and trading mechanics well enough to make informed product decisions. Complex product trade-offs: You’ll need to balance user needs, technical constraints, business goals, market dynamics, and protocol considerations when making decisions. High ownership and autonomy: You’ll be expected to independently drive projects from problem discovery through launch and iteration, rather than simply executing an existing roadmap. Global collaboration: You’ll work with teammates across different countries, cultures, and time zones, requiring strong communication and self-management skills. About you: 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in DeFi, crypto, Web3, fintech, or financial products. Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, crypto markets, on-chain trading, liquidity, and trading mechanics. Proven track record of owning and shipping products end-to-end, from identifying opportunities and defining product strategy to launch and iteration. Strong product sense and the ability to turn complex technical or market problems into simple, actionable product solutions. Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding technical constraints and trade-offs. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and user insights to drive product decisions. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese. High level of ownership, curiosity, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment. Interested in Learning More?
