East Saint Louis, IL · Onsite US Citizen, Green Card, OPT 1-2 years Apply Now Back to all jobs About the role 3i People, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Inspector I to play a key role as a member of the mobile inspections team for a designated region, with the primary responsibilities of conducting vehicle condition inspections on a the organization’s lot. Their core skill is to provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition within the parameters of an inspection. This position will build trust with clients, engage to help them see the value in the marketplace, and to request more inventory to be inspected by providing quality and timely inspections. As Mobile Inspector I, this role will work closely with the Sr Mobile Inspector and/or Mobile Inspector IV as they expand their inspection skills, gain familiarity with the mobile inspection role, and build relationships with clients. Job Requirements • Monday through Friday • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Work Environment • Primarily outdoor work environment • Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and vehicle inspections required Candidate Profile Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED preferred/required • Valid driver's license and safe driving record • Comfortable using mobile technology and handheld devices • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience • 1-2 years of automotive-related experience preferred • Automotive, mechanic, body shop, dealership, auction, or vehicle inspection experience highly desired • Familiarity with vehicle components and condition assessments • Body, paint, and mechanical repair knowledge is beneficial Key Responsibilities Mobile Inspectors conduct detailed vehicle condition inspections on client lots and accurately document findings using inspection technology.
