Job description
At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As a Group Product Manager, you will define and execute the core health, fitness, and continuous sensing strategy for Google’s wearable platform. You will lead the platformization of health APIs, sensor ingestion, exercise tracking infrastructure, and cross-device fitness continuity across Pixel Watch, Fitbit, third-party OEMs and emergent multi-device ecosystems (such as Android XR). You will serve as an Individual Contributor responsible for high-stakes platform architectures, complex partner relationships, and technical product definitions that power health features for millions of wrist-wearable users worldwide.
Platform teams push the boundaries of embedded systems, sensing accuracy, and low-power compute. You will bridge hardware constraints with high-level software abstractions, ensuring that our wearable ecosystem delivers exceptional health accuracy, low-power continuous tracking, and developer-friendly platform APIs.
Are you ready to shape the future of wearable technology and impact how millions of people experience wearables daily? Are you ready to empower developers building the apps that define this rapidly evolving device category? Help us with one of the most important challenges: designing for the most personal devices worn today by millions of users. The Wear OS team's mission is to effortlessly connect users with their health, loved ones, and the world around them, offering a seamless smartwatch experience with access to their favorite apps and services. We provide the core Android experience, tailored specifically for wearables. The age of wearable computing is upon us and Wear OS is at the forefront of creating a place for users, hardware manufacturers, and app developers to come together and help make lives simpler and more seamless.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
