Job description
Gas South is seeking an innovative, curious, and adaptable self-starter to join our team as a Marketing Analyst I. If you enjoy solving business problems with data, analyzing customer behavior, and uncovering insights that drive business growth, this position is a great fit.
As a Marketing Analyst I, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment where you will apply analytical, statistical, and problem-solving techniques to support sales and marketing strategy. This role sits at the intersection of marketing analytics, sales analytics, and data analytics, leveraging customer, operational, and market data to answer complex business questions and improve decision-making across the organization.
A Marketing Analyst I at Gas South is a problem-solver who provides valuable analytical and technical support while partnering with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement. In addition to supporting reporting and analysis needs, you will help transform large and complex datasets into actionable insights that influence customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and overall business performance.
Becoming a Marketing Analyst at Gas South offers an exceptional growth opportunity through a four-level analyst career path. As analysts gain experience and broaden their impact, they progress through the Analyst I, Analyst II, Senior Analyst, and Lead Analyst levels, taking on increasing responsibility as both contributors and leaders.
Are you a fit?
As a successful candidate for this role, you are proactive, curious, and possess strong critical thinking skills. You enjoy solving business problems with data and are motivated by understanding customer behavior, identifying patterns, and uncovering insights that drive better decisions.
You leverage data to evaluate performance, answer complex business questions, and support strategic decision-making. You are comfortable working with large datasets and have an interest in developing technical skills through tools such as SQL, Python, business intelligence platforms, and data visualization technologies.
You are naturally curious about how businesses operate and enjoy exploring the relationships between customer behavior, marketing performance, sales outcomes, and financial results. You are energized by learning new concepts, improving processes, and finding efficient ways to transform data into actionable insights.
If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy tackling open-ended analytical challenges, and are excited to develop both your technical and business acumen, you'll fit right in at Gas South.
