Position: Backend Java API Developer
Client: Client/ Humana
Locations: Louisville, KY | Dallas, TX | Chicago, IL | Washington, DC (Arlington) (Onsite/ Hybrid)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Experience: 10+ Years
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with Java
• Spring Boot
• REST APIs / RESTful Services
• Microservices Architecture
• API development and integration
• Strong experience with SQL / PostgreSQL
• Experience with Node.js is a plus
• Cloud experience with AWS / Azure
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend applications
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based REST APIs and microservices .
• Develop scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot .
• Integrate APIs with internal and external applications.
• Work with databases including PostgreSQL/SQL .
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and business teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Follow Agile development and CI/CD practices.
