Who we are: Build the infrastructure that moves America forward.
If you've driven on a highway in North America, there's a good chance Infotech software helped build it. We create the tools that power road construction from bid to build — digital bidding, cost estimation, document signing, inspection, and more. 88% of U.S. state transportation agencies rely on our software to deliver infrastructure projects with transparency, accuracy, and compliance.
We're a Certified™ Great Place to Work® headquartered in Gainesville, Florida, and with talented employees across the country, we're looking for individuals to help achieve our mission. If you're driven, collaborative, and ready to do work that genuinely matters, keep reading.
What you'll do
As our UX/UI Designer, you'll execute our UX vision and uphold a high craft bar across our full product suite, including the modernization of AASHTOWare Project (AWP), one of the most widely used platforms in public infrastructure delivery. You'll contribute to Causeway, our design system, creating components and refining patterns as it scales across every surface we ship. You'll work closely with product managers, engineering leads, and a multi-disciplinary design team, bringing AI-assisted tools into daily practice to raise the floor for the whole team while keeping craft and user empathy at the center of every decision.
What you bring
You must have:
• 3–5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, product designer, or interaction designer
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, user research integration, and refined visual craft
• Experience contributing to a design system at scale, embedded as a continuous input into agile, sprint-based development
• Hands-on proficiency in Figma, including team library management and component governance
• Experience designing for complex, multi-persona B2B/enterprise SaaS products
• Personal, hands-on fluency with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools, with real production use you can speak to
Nice to have:
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, GovTech, or another regulated, standards-driven B2B vertical
• Familiarity with public-sector or standards-body-governed product constraints
• Experience with design-ops platforms and accessibility tooling beyond Figma
• Experience building prompt libraries or design-system-aware AI tooling adopted by other teams
