Job description

As passionate about our people as we are about our mission. Why Join Q2? Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions to banks, credit unions, alternative finance companies, and fintechs in the U.S. and internationally. Our mission is simple: build strong and diverse communities through innovative financial technology—and we do that by empowering our people to help create success for our customers. What Makes Q2 Special? Being as passionate about our people as we are about our mission. We celebrate our employees in many ways through our year-round Q2 ChangeMakers awards program and global moments of recognition and connection. We invest in the growth and development of our team members through ongoing learning opportunities, internal mobility, and meaningful leadership relationships. We also know that nothing builds trust and collaboration like having fun and giving back together. From company-wide volunteer days to events like our Q2 Homecoming Week—featuring learning, community service, and culture-building experiences—we create opportunities to connect, grow, and make an impact. About PrecisionLender PrecisionLender is Q2 s relationship pricing and profitability platform trusted by commercial banks and financial institutions to win better deals, grow profitable relationships, and make smarter decisions at the point of negotiation. Our platform combines real-time pricing intelligence, market benchmarking, and AI-assisted guidance to help bankers structure deals that are good for their customers and good for their institution. What You ll Do Here As a Product Designer, you ll be part of the Product team, working closely with software engineers, product managers, and product owners. You ll use your expert knowledge of design and user research to find meaningful ways to improve our product and processes. You ll be empowered to listen to our clients needs and act on them. Our Product Designers own the end-to-end user experience, including wireframing, feature definition, designing mockups, usability testing, user research, and advocating for a high-quality, accessible product. The users you ll design for are commercial bankers, relationship managers, administrators, and banking leadership — professionals who work in high-stakes, fast-moving environments where every workflow decision has real business impact. Understanding their world, their constraints, and what it means to win a deal is core to doing this job well. You ll be instrumental in shaping the direction of the design team — providing meaningful feedback on designs, thinking about the future of design at Q2, collaborating across the product organization, and contributing to strategy, goals, and roadmap conversations. What People Say About You You have stellar written and verbal communication skills, and a gift for explaining complicated things simply. You re driven and persistent — you find ways to make processes better, and then you make it happen. Your scrappiness makes you a natural problem solver who doesn t give up when the answers aren t obvious. You have a bias toward action and never walk by a mess without cleaning it up. Why Work With Us If you like diving into complex business requirements to build simple, intuitive workflows — and working with industry experts in finance and software to build a diverse suite of tools — we think you ll find a great home at PrecisionLender. You ll have the resources and the space to continually hone your craft and grow your impact. Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love.
