Job description
About Onehouse
Onehouse is a mission-driven company dedicated to freeing data from data platform lock-in. We deliver the industry’s most interoperable data lakehouse through a cloud-native managed service built on Apache Hudi. Onehouse enables organizations to ingest data at scale with minute-level freshness, centrally store it, and make available to any downstream query engine and use case (from traditional analytics to real-time AI / ML).
We are a team of self-driven, inspired, and seasoned builders that have created large-scale data systems and globally distributed platforms that sit at the heart of some of the largest enterprises out there including Uber, Snowflake, AWS, Linkedin, Confluent and many more. Riding off a fresh $35M Series B backed by Craft, Greylock and Addition Ventures, we're now at $68M total funding and looking for rising talent to grow with us and become future leaders of the team. Come help us build the world's best fully managed and self-optimizing data lake platform!
The Impact You Will Drive
We are looking for a Chief of Staff, GTM & Business Operations to act as a force multiplier for the CEO and help scale Onehouse through its next phase of growth. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role that blends: Go-to-market execution and operations, CEO-level strategic and operational support, External-facing leadership with customers and partners and General business operations and problem-solving.
You will operate across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Leadership—owning day-to-day execution where needed and driving clarity, alignment, and momentum across the business.
This role is ideal for a senior operator who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants broad exposure to how a Series B company is built and scaled.
Please note this is an in person role, 4 days a week at our company headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA.
What You Will Do:
GTM Operations & Execution
Own day-to-day tactical execution of go-to-market operations, including aligning sales and marketing plans, monitoring CRM health, and improving pipeline efficiency.
Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure clean data, consistent processes, and predictable execution.
Support deal execution, including pricing, approvals, forecasting, and late-stage deal support.
Chief of Staff to CEO
Act as a trusted right-hand to the CEO, helping prioritize initiatives, prepare for key meetings, and drive follow-through.
Prepare board decks, executive readouts, and leadership materials.
Analyze business metrics and synthesize insights for decision-making.
Coordinate and drive cross-functional projects that don’t have a natural owner.
External Representation & Deal Support
Serve as a credible external representative of Onehouse with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Join customer and partner meetings, articulate Onehouse’s value clearly, and help move deals toward closure.
Carry the company’s voice with professionalism, clarity, and confidence.
Business Operations & Special Projects
Handle a wide range of business-side tasks, including contract redlining, drafting press releases or announcements, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Identify operational gaps and step in to fix them—either directly or by helping define the role/process needed long-term.
Drive execution on high-priority, ambiguous projects critical to company growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
3+ years of experience in roles such as Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Consulting, or early-stage startup operations.
Hands-on experience with go-to-market operations, including CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), pipeline management, and sales/marketing alignment.
Experience working closely with a CEO or executive team, including board prep and strategic execution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
Exceptional written and verbal presentation/communication skills.
Comfort being externally customer- and partner-facing.
High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
MBA required
Bonus Points:
Experience at a Series A or Series B SaaS or data/infrastructure company.
Prior experience supporting enterprise sales motions.
Background in both consulting and startup operations.
Familiarity with data platforms, analytics infrastructure, or developer-focused products.
Undergrad in a STEM focused program
Why Join Onehouse
Work directly with the CEO on the most important initiatives in the company.
Broad ownership and visibility across product, GTM, and leadership.
Opportunity to shape how a fast-growing company operates at scale.
Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
A collaborative, low-ego team focused on building durable, open infrastructure.
