Job description

Prelim is hiring our first dedicated recruiter. We're a profitable, remote-first company doubling revenue year over year, and hiring is now the constraint on growth. You'll learn to run full-cycle recruiting across engineering, sales, and implementations, trained by the people who built our recruiting process. We’re looking for someone sharp, fast, and relentless about improving. Our interview loops, rubrics, and processes are already built — your job is to master them, run them, and eventually make them better than we could. What you'll do - Run full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting offers through close - Fill pipelines with cold outreach, referrals, and events — not just process inbound applications - Partner with hiring managers to understand what “exceptional” looks like for each role - Help run campus recruiting efforts - Track pipeline metrics and report what’s working and what isn’t - Protect candidate experience — fast loops, honest communication, clean closes What we're looking for - Clear communicator with strong writing skills: you’ll write JD’s, reports, debriefs, offer letters, and internal documentation - Genuine interest in people: reading them, persuading them, advocating for them - Output volume you can point to — a role where you handled high throughput (customers served, calls made, events run, tickets closed) - Evidence you learn hard things fast — what, how quickly, and what the result was - A track record of top-tier performance: early promotion, top ranking, a team you led, a business you started - Nice to have: any exposure to recruiting, sales, or fintech About Prelim Prelim is a San Francisco and New York City-based startup that operates with fully remote positions across the US, helping banks onboard their customers. Our platform is designed to streamline the account opening process for both consumers and businesses, accelerating speed-to-market and enhancing the customer experience for financial institutions. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the banking industry, we encourage you to apply and join our team at Prelim. We are seeking individuals who are driven, ambitious, and eager to make a real impact in a traditional industry ready for technological innovation. We offer equity, a sponsored 401K, parental leave, and fully paid health, vision, and dental insurance. Additional benefits include unlimited PTO, a remote work stipend, a life-style stipend, and twice-yearly company offsites. Prelim values diversity and inclusion; people of all backgrounds are welcome to join our mission to transform banking.
