Job description

ABOUT AIOS AIOS is building the world’s first full-stack AI doctor. We’re at $450M ARR, growing from $7M/yr in April 2025. We’re faithfully serving >200k/mo patients via Bolt Pharmacy, our main UK brand. We’ve just launched Bolt Med, our international brand. We’re profitable. Our strategy exists at the intersection of two strong theses: 1. The AI doctor that wins will get to escape velocity using GLP-1s, the fastest growing consumer product in history. 2. The $2T European healthcare market is overlooked by the most talented builders. Our master plan: - Step 0 → $100M/yr by end of 2025: We went from $10M to $100M in 6 months serving the UK GLP-1 market. - Step 1 → $1B ARR by end of 2026: Since April 2025 we've grown from 3k to 200k UK active GLP-1 patients. We’ll continue this growth curve to hit $1B ARR. - Step 2 → $10B ARR by end of 2028: Blitzscale Europe. We’ll be Europe’s largest GLP-1 provider. - Step 3 → $100B/yr by end of 2030: Get regulatory approval across Europe for our Full Autonomous Prescribing (FAP) system. Win contracts at scale with European payers to mass replace human labor. We’ll be the dominant full-stack AI doctor in Europe. - Step 4 → $1T/yr by end of 2035: With one line of code and zero human time, you can use AIOS to treat any patient globally with any medication. In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion-dollar healthcare company. We’re a young, founder-led company. This is still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us. As Product Manager - Engagement at AIOS (Bolt Pharmacy), your fundamental role is to make the app experience essential to the customer journey. You’ll turn a run of the mill medication delivery app into a product customers come back to daily, and one that is impactful enough they can’t help but bring their network with them. This is first of its kind work: you'll be designing and shipping the features that make customers feel supported on their weight loss journey, despite many people on GLP-1s initially wanting to go it alone. Concretely, you'll build and iterate on social functionality, including ‘Circles’, a private group concept where users invite friends and family to cheer them on. You will own our ‘Freemium’ model that brings in supporters, curious prospective users and existing customers of competitors to our app. You will make the whole journey more social, less lonely, and easier to talk about, driving retention and new user growth in the process. This is a full-time, fully remote role. You can work async in the timezone of your choice, provided you have sufficient overlap with European and US time zones (mid day Pacific Time) when needed. You'll report directly to our Head of Product (Ben Dowdle linkedin.com). You’ll also work most closely with our nascent Engagement Pod, consisting of you, a product designer, and a lean engineering team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Engagement & Social Direction: You own the roadmap for everything that turns the app from a delivery utility into something people genuinely want to open every day. - Community Building: You lead our work on Circles (private user groups), the product experience that turns a solitary journey into a supported one and builds real community around the GLP-1 experience. - Freemium Growth: You build and own the freemium loop that pulls both existing and prospective GLP-1 users into the app, then turns them into our best source of new patients. - Behavioural Design: You'll work at the intersection of behavioural design, growth loops, and clinical constraints. You’ll form and defend a strong point of view on what drives ongoing engagement in a category where sharing is high on stigma. - Research: You'll own the research needed to form your strong point of view. You’ll work closely with design and engineering to refine direction, proving impact against retention, engagement and growth metrics. - Metrics Ownership: You define and own the numbers that prove your strategy is working (weekly active users, retention, freemium-to-customer conversion etc.). You can clearly speak through your metrics with the team. NEED TO HAVE - Consumer App Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager on consumer apps, with a clear track record of 0 to 1 product development as a Senior Product Manager. - Social Product Chops: You've built social, community, and/or growth-focused conversion features. You understand what makes users come back and bring others with them. - Growth/engagement fluency: You think in growth mechanics (freemium conversion, retention curves, activation funnels). You upskill your pod quickly to get them aligned on what actually moves the needle. - Independence: You take loosely defined, ambiguous problems and run with them end to end without needing much steering. You own the hypothesis, roadmap, and the outcome. - Data Fluency: You understand the criticality of accurate data. You detest obfuscated metrics and strive for the base truth. You’ve previously defined a new metric, and/or refined a fuzzy metric. - Research background: You run your own qualitative and quantitative research rather than waiting for it to be handed to you. You run multiple tests in parallel without getting overwhelmed. - Clockspeed: You move fast and ship in weekly sprint cycles, not quarters. You'd rather get something in front of users and learn versus perfecting it in a doc and delaying. NICE TO HAVE - Regulated or sensitive-category experience: You don't need healthcare experience, but experience in a category where users are hesitant to share (health, finance, dating) is a strong plus, since you understand stigma as a design constraint - Startup Experience: You’ve operated in an early-stage company or built something yourself. You’re comfortable when the product, process, and playbook still need to be invented. - Multi-sided products: You’ve built products that need to create value for different types of users at the same time, such as customers, friends, family members, and prospective customers. - AI-native: You use AI as a force multiplier across research, analysis, prototyping, and product development. You are constantly finding ways to increase your pod’s velocity. OUR CULTURAL STANDARDS We aim to make this your life's work. This should be the most challenging, most rewarding role of your life. Accordingly, these are the core cultural standards to which we hold ourselves & our team-members: 1. Belief in the mission: We will have served 100 million patients by the end of 2035 and we transform the life of most patients who join. We have a lot of work to do. We are obsessed with our patients and are dedicated to the mission. 2. Unwavering integrity: We are at the frontier, so we often live in ambiguity with no trodden path. When we can't look to others for guidance, we must maintain impeccable ethics and unwavering integrity. 3. Only the paranoid survive: Bad sh*t is coming. By joining us, you're choosing to sail straight towards the storms with unhesitating conviction. However much we've already done, however far we've already come — it's still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us. 4. If we're average we fail: We are only interested in "insanely great", a focus on the quality of our execution that in everyday life would be considered pathological. We have a dedication to excellence and reject incompetence. 5. Commitment to candor: That which can be destroyed by the truth should be. You get full transparency from the company and the company expects full transparency from you. We never say anything about someone that we wouldn't say to them directly. We give feedback with love and do not need to protect people from fleeting physical sensations. 6. A maniacal sense of urgency: We execute at an intensity that most people think is impossible. Speed is critical and we need things done yesterday. We all work very hard and in such a competitive world there really is no other way to win. 7. Enduring frugality: We are frugal. We hate being wasteful and we are anti-luxury. A culture of cheapness keeps us young. We spend our cash wisely & carefully — in a way that would make our grandmas proud. 8. Bulldozing barriers: The world is malleable and we shape it. We truly believe this and act accordingly. We are relentlessly resourceful and are at the mercy of no-one but ourselves. You'll be shocked how capable you are and how much you can achieve. 9. Keep your head down: We're boring people doing exciting work. We don't chase short-term status — we ignore short-term dopamine hits and focus on what matters. Outsiders will underestimate us and we revel in that. 10. The power of focus: We live in a world of power laws and we cannot overestimate the unimportance of practically everything. Know your One Thing, and nail it. 🎯 "You just build a f*ing amazing experience. Make each step amazing. Make every decision in the long term interest of the customer. Give the customer massively more value than you take." COMPENSATION & BENEFITS You get paid above market salary and you get early stage equity, so you get really rich if we nail this. - Compensation: $150k-300k/yr, incl equity BENEFITS The stuff below is cool as well. - Healthcare: comprehensive medical insurance (if appropriate). - Vacation: PTO with a yearly minimum (≥2wks/yr + local national holidays) - Personal development: budget for books, courses, coaching. - Personal wellness: budget for gym, health apps. - GLP-1s: free membership with a clinic offering GLP-1s. - Equipment: Macbook & work-from-home equipment provided as needed. - What are we missing? We're still early so you get to shape our culture. HOW TO APPLY 1. Apply on Ashby [application link]
