Job description

ABOUT AIOS AIOS is building the world’s first full-stack AI doctor. We’re at $450M ARR, growing from $7M/yr in April 2025. We’re faithfully serving >200k/mo patients via Bolt Pharmacy, our main UK brand. We’ve just launched Bolt Med, our international brand. We’re profitable. Our strategy exists at the intersection of two strong theses: 1. The AI doctor that wins will get to escape velocity using GLP-1s, the fastest growing consumer product in history. 2. The $2T European healthcare market is overlooked by the most talented builders. Our master plan: - Step 0 → $100M/yr by end of 2025: We went from $10M to $100M in 6 months serving the UK GLP-1 market. - Step 1 → $1B ARR by end of 2026: Since April 2025 we've grown from 3k to 200k UK active GLP-1 patients. We’ll continue this growth curve to hit $1B ARR. - Step 2 → $10B ARR by end of 2028: Blitzscale Europe. We’ll be Europe’s largest GLP-1 provider. - Step 3 → $100B/yr by end of 2030: Get regulatory approval across Europe for our Full Autonomous Prescribing (FAP) system. Win contracts at scale with European payers to mass replace human labor. We’ll be the dominant full-stack AI doctor in Europe. - Step 4 → $1T/yr by end of 2035: With one line of code and zero human time, you can use AIOS to treat any patient globally with any medication. In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion-dollar healthcare company. We’re a young, founder-led company. This is still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us. You can read more about working with us here: Working at AIOS aiosmedical.notion.site BEING A WEB DESIGNER AT AIOS We’re building a world-class team. As Web Designer at AIOS, you’ll own how our brands look and perform on the web, and you’ll own the outcome, not just the pixels. We expect you to do much more than design the website. You’ll find the insight, shape the offer, design the page, build it, ship it and learn from the results. Flashy design isn’t the job. Getting people to act is. Every page you make should help a real person take the next step towards treatment that can change their life. You’ll design landing pages, funnels, quizzes and onboarding flows across Bolt Pharmacy, Bolt Med and the new markets we’re launching. You’ll lean on AI to design, build and test at a pace a traditional team can’t match. This is a full-time, fully remote role, and you’ll work mostly async in the timezone of your choice, as long as you’re around until midday Pacific Time every weekday. This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You’ll report directly to Ryan Wu linkedin.com, our Head of Design. You’ll work closely with Michael McCann linkedin.com, our CRO Lead. You’ll sit within the Growth team, which is currently led by our CEO (Richie linkedin.com). I (Richie) intense, so you’ll also be intense. You’ll work long days and regularly work weekends. This is an awful job for the vast majority of people looking for a job. Stay away! And for the right person, this will be the best role of your life :) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You’ll own web conversion end to end, from insight through to live page. This role exists to turn growth bets into high-converting pages, fast. - Strategic ownership: Own the outcome, not the artefact. Spot what’s holding conversion back, form a point of view, make the case and see it through. We want you shaping what we build, not just how it looks. - High-converting web design: Design websites, landing pages, funnels and onboarding flows that get people to act. Clear hierarchy, sharp copy flow and a strong offer beat decoration every time. - Value propositions: Turn what we know about our patients into compelling USPs and value propositions, then test which ones land. - Follow the scent: Take the scent trails you’re given (data, research, CRO insights, a hunch from the founders) and turn them into high-converting designs, with a high degree of autonomy. - Figma to live: Get your designs out of Figma and into frontend code yourself. We currently use Webflow. No handoff queue, no waiting on a developer. - AI-powered design and build: Use AI to design, build and generate A/B tests and landing pages. Prompt your way to high-quality work rather than doing it all by hand. - Systems that scale: Build and improve the AI workflows, components and templates that let one designer do the work of a whole team, while keeping brand quality high. - Ship fast: Go from idea to live test in days, not weeks. Read the results, cut what doesn’t work and double down on what does. NEED TO HAVE - Experience: 3+ years designing high-performing websites and landing pages, with a portfolio that shows results, not just visuals. - User psychology: A strong understanding of what motivates people to convert, and how hierarchy, copy, proof and friction shape a decision. - Value propositions: Able to craft compelling USPs and value propositions, and put them on a page so they land. - Design to code: Comfortable moving your own designs into frontend code. Webflow experience is helpful but not essential. - AI-native: At the forefront of AI in design. You already use it in your day-to-day workflow, you’re strong at building AI systems that scale your output, and you’re keen to push adoption further. - Ownership: Self-directed and happy to own work from insight through to live page. You don’t wait for direction, you find what’s missing and fix it. - Speed: You ship fast without dropping quality. You’d rather get something live and learn than polish it in Figma for another week. - Craft: High standards for polish, spacing, responsiveness and load speed. NICE TO HAVE - CRO: Experience running or designing for A/B and multivariate tests. - Analytics: Comfortable reading performance data and using behaviour tools to decide what to try next. - Product flows: Experience with onboarding, checkout or other key conversion touchpoints. - Regulated markets: Experience designing for healthcare, pharmacy or other regulated industries. - Design Systems : Experience building or maintaining component-based systems for testing and scale. - Multi-market: Experience adapting pages for different countries and languages. - SEO and performance: Understanding of how design choices affect SEO and page speed. OUR CULTURAL STANDARDS We aim to make this your life's work. This should be the most challenging, most rewarding role of your life. Accordingly, these are the core cultural standards to which we hold ourselves & our team-members: 1. Belief in the mission: We will have served 100 million patients by the end of 2035 and we transform the life of most patients who join. We have a lot of work to do. We are obsessed with our patients and are dedicated to the mission. 2. Unwavering integrity: We are at the frontier, so we often live in ambiguity with no trodden path. When we can't look to others for guidance, we must maintain impeccable ethics and unwavering integrity. 3. Only the paranoid survive: Bad sh*t is coming. By joining us, you're choosing to sail straight towards the storms with unhesitating conviction. However much we've already done, however far we've already come, it's still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us. 4. If we're average we fail: We are only interested in "insanely great", a focus on the quality of our execution that in everyday life would be considered pathological. We have a dedication to excellence and reject incompetence. 5. Commitment to candor: That which can be destroyed by the truth should be. You get full transparency from the company and the company expects full transparency from you. We never say anything about someone that we wouldn't say to them directly. We give feedback with love and do not need to protect people from fleeting physical sensations. 6. A maniacal sense of urgency: We execute at an intensity that most people think is impossible. Speed is critical and we need things done yesterday. We all work very hard and in such a competitive world there really is no other way to win. 7. Enduring frugality: We are frugal. We hate being wasteful and we are anti-luxury. A culture of cheapness keeps us young. We spend our cash wisely & carefully, in a way that would make our grandmas proud. 8. Bulldozing barriers: The world is malleable and we shape it. We truly believe this and act accordingly. We are relentlessly resourceful and are at the mercy of no-one but ourselves. You'll be shocked how capable you are and how much you can achieve. 9. Keep your head down: We're boring people doing exciting work. We don't chase short-term status. We ignore short-term dopamine hits and focus on what matters. Outsiders will underestimate us and we revel in that. 10. The power of focus: We live in a world of power laws and we cannot overestimate the unimportance of practically everything. Know your One Thing, and nail it. 🎯 "You just build a f\*ing amazing experience. Make each step amazing. Make every decision in the long term interest of the customer. Give the customer massively more value than you take." COMPENSATION & BENEFITS You get paid above market salary and you get early stage equity, so you get really rich if we nail this. - Compensation: $75k-$150k/yr including equity BENEFITS The stuff below is cool as well. - Healthcare: comprehensive medical insurance (if appropriate). - Remote: our team is fully distributed across the world and functions fully remotely. - Personal development: budget for books, courses, coaching. - Personal wellness: budget for gym, health apps. - GLP-1s: free membership with a clinic offering GLP-1s. - Health coaching: free biweekly health coaching so you stay healthy. - Work coaching: free biweekly work coaching so you stay sharp + calm. - Equipment: Macbook & work-from-home equipment provided as needed. - What are we missing? We're still early so you get to shape our culture.
