Job description

ABOUT US At Rox rox.com, we believe in empowering people to do their best work. Our platform supercharges sellers with autonomous revenue agents to do the manual work so they can focus on what they do best: selling. Just as coding agents 10x’d engineering, revenue agents 10x customer work. We are reimagining the revenue stack by building the world’s first revenue operating system, from the application layer to the system of context. With Rox, humans are evolving to orchestrators while agents manage the end-to-end customer lifecycle. Rox powers Global 2000 leaders in banking, hardware, construction, and sovereign AI, while serving dominant AI winners like Ramp and Cognition. Underlying all of this success is an unwavering, shared belief in the mission, with an unreasonable commitment of doing whatever it takes to make it a reality. THE TEAM Nothing is possible without the world-class team, assembled to redefine how businesses operate. Members on our team have: - Founded and exited successful companies - Held the highest positions at Google, AWS, Confluent, and New Relic - Won IMO and IOI gold medals - Published field-defining papers We’re backed by the best, including Sequoia, General Catalyst, Google Ventures, Elad Gil, and Chris Ré. CORE PRINCIPLES TASTE: CRAFT BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCES. No matter how small, we strive to make sure every detail is right. We care deeply about every interaction, both in terms of whether it helps the seller get the job done, but also how the product makes them feel. We get a visceral feeling when something is off and stop at nothing to make sure we make it right. We never settle, continuously exploring ways to delight sellers. OBSESSION: COMMIT UNREASONABLY. In all aspects of our craft, we commit. We not only are immediately reactive to customers’ requests but are proactive about driving value even before they ask. We are also obsessive about always learning and honing our craft, improving ourselves and product every single day. ACTION: GET IT DONE. Talking is easy but the difference comes from the execution. We lean heavily towards making thoughtful yet fast decisions and delivering immediately. We play in a field where trust is paramount. We earn the trust and right to empower the best sellers by forging a history of over-delivering on the promise at record speed. YOUR ROLE ABOUT THE SOLUTIONS ENGINEERING TEAM Solutions Engineering at Rox is not a support role. It’s a product-shaping, deal-defining function. This team sits at the center of Sales, Product, and Engineering, and is responsible for turning Rox’s technical capabilities into undeniable customer value. You’ll be joining at the ground floor of the East Coast SE team. A Solutions Engineering leader is coming on board, and you’ll work alongside three in-seat SEs in San Francisco while helping establish how this function scales in New York. The patterns you set (how we demo, how we scope, how we integrate, how we sell) will become the blueprint for the company. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a Solutions Engineer role for someone who is equal parts technical, customer-obsessed, and opinionated about how great sales engineering should work. You’ll spend your time embedded in real deals: running technical discovery, designing integrations, and leading demos that show customers exactly how Rox fits into their data and GTM environment. But this role goes beyond execution. You’ll identify what’s broken or inefficient in the sales process and fix it: improving demo flows, tightening technical narratives, and raising the bar for everyone who comes after you. If you enjoy being the person in the room who can both go deep technically and translate complexity into clarity, this role will feel like home. WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS Rox is scaling quickly, and the way we sell matters as much as what we build. This role exists to ensure that our technical story is clear, compelling, and grounded in real customer impact, and that it stays that way as we grow. If you’re excited by ownership, influence, and the chance to help define a function from the ground up, this is one of those rare roles where your fingerprints will still be visible years from now. RESPONSIBILITIES - Become a product expert quickly, with a deep understanding of Rox’s architecture, use cases, and customer workflows - Partner closely with Sales to run high-impact technical demos and support deals from first call through close - Design and explain integrations across data warehouses, CRMs, AI agents, and modern GTM tooling - Lead technical discovery conversations that surface real customer problems, not only stated requirements - Translate customer feedback into clear, actionable insights for Product and Engineering - Improve how Rox sells by refining demo narratives, technical positioning, and sales enablement - Help onboard and train new Solutions Engineers as the team scales across the East Coast WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - In your first few days: You understand Rox’s product well enough to speak confidently about the platform and its value - Within a few weeks: You’re running live demos and actively contributing to deals in the pipeline - Within a few months: You’re raising the bar: improving the sales motion, mentoring new SEs, and shaping how Solutions Engineering operates at Rox QUALIFICATIONS - Experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role in B2B SaaS - Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems, including data warehouses and GTM stacks - Hands-on experience with integrations involving CRMs, analytics tools, or AI-driven systems - Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where process is still being built - A track record of partnering effectively with Sales and Product teams to drive outcomes BENEFITS - Medical, dental, and vision, including 100% company-paid plans for you and eligible dependents - Company-paid life & AD&D, plus short- and long-term disability - 401(k) with automatic enrollment - Unlimited PTO, plus paid sick leave, company holidays, and bereavement - Up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave at 100% pay (birth, adoption, or foster) - Wellness stipend: $375/quarter - Learning stipend: up to $2,000/year - Internet & cell phone stipend: $25/month - Mental health support, virtual care, and care navigation - Fertility & family-building support, plus backup care membership - Pre-tax commuter benefits (transit & parking) - SF HQ: daily catered breakfast & lunch, meal allowances, and rideshare support when commuting to the office APPLY To apply, please fill out the application form. We're looking forward to connecting with you!
