Job description

About Ridwell Ridwell is a service that inspires people to create a future without waste. Today, we make it easy to reuse and recycle more by identifying recyclable and reusable items that the city doesn't collect through both our doorstep pickup and mail-in services, connecting those materials with local and national partners that can use them sustainably. Our future plans go much further and include making zero waste a reality for millions. As a B Corp-certified company, sustainability isn't just a company value—it's a fundamental part of our purpose and interests. Our mission is to empower communities to waste less, and every success our team celebrates means more waste saved from the landfill and more valuable donations in the hands of local non-profits. This is a pivotal moment of growth for Ridwell. We're looking for people who are energized by a challenging, fast-paced environment, ready to make a real impact on a mission that matters, and excited to grow alongside a team that's genuinely invested in one another! Our Values Our member is our hero. Our members are at the core of our company. Only by empowering them can we accomplish our vision. We Never Settle. We are relentlessly pursuing the exceptional and challenging the status quo–always making our service, experience, and company better. We Take Our Success Personally. We all have a stake in the success of Ridwell. You are empowered to make an impact. Purpose Drives Our Actions. Knowing why we are doing something enables us to focus on what is truly important. We Are Stronger Together. Every person is critical to our success. We need diverse perspectives to execute on creative solutions. By fostering collaboration and connection at every level, we can be phenomenal. About the Role Ridwell just launched nationally and is seeing tremendous growth, driven in large part by our paid acquisition program. Now we're looking for a Senior Manager of Acquisition Marketing to take that engine to the next level — you'll be inheriting a high-performing program with real momentum, and we need someone who can build on that foundation and push it further. Responsibilities Own and continuously optimize Ridwell's Meta advertising program, using performance and retention data to guide strategic decisions on targeting, budget, and audience mix Diversify our acquisition mix beyond Meta, identifying, testing, and scaling new platforms and channels to build a more resilient, multi-channel growth engine Build and manage a UGC/creator content pipeline, owning the creative strategy and briefing process that keeps high-performing assets flowing Partner cross-functionally with lifecycle, brand, and other growth leads to ensure acquisition strategy is aligned with the broader member experience and company priorities Stay ahead of industry trends and platform shifts, proactively bringing new opportunities and strategic recommendations to the table Own budget planning and forecasting for the acquisition program, ensuring spend is allocated efficiently against performance and growth targets Requirements 7+ years in DTC performance marketing, ideally with early-career analyst roots Deep Meta expertise with a platform-generalist mindset Track record of independently owning a paid acquisition program end-to-end – both strategy and execution Deeply energized by data; you dig into the numbers because you want to know the real story, not simply because reporting requires it A brand and customer-first approach to acquisition: you think about who you're reaching and what they need to know, not just what converts A Note on Resources Budget follows performance, not the other way around. If the CAC and LTV math works, there's no artificial ceiling on spend — own your budget, and make the case for growth when the data supports it. You will never be starved for data. Ridwell has rich website, member and performance data, plus a dedicated analytics resource ready to support you directly. If something you need doesn't exist yet, we'll build it together. Cross-functional support is a given, not a fight. Engineering, Ops, Product, and other teams are highly aligned on growth as a company priority — when you need technical support or cross-functional buy-in to execute your strategy, you won't be fighting for it. Real room to grow. This role comes with strong mentorship and a clear path forward — success here means scaling the acquisition program to the point where you're hiring and leading your own team. Benefits Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, vision and dental Flexible vacation and sick leave policy Paid holidays Paid parental leave Flexible spending account for transportation Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Discount on a monthly Ridwell subscription 401(k) plan Stock option plan The compensation range represents our best estimate, with the final offer subject to internal compensation benchmarks, candidate experience, and market data. Individuals seeking employment at Ridwell are considered without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or sexual orientation.
