Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal – Roseland, NJ - Onsite $100K - $130K About this role We are looking for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join a busy, high-caliber real estate team at a 115-year-old New Jersey law firm. You'll work directly alongside practice leaders on sophisticated commercial deals for entrepreneurial NJ developers, property owners, investors, and lenders - and the partners here say the best paralegals are "just as good, if not better, than young associates." Responsibilities • Ordering and reviewing title commitments and surveys, and clearing title objections • Preparing closing documents, managing closing checklists, and coordinating funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions • Handling due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active deals • Managing post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items • Interfacing directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies with minimal partner oversight Key Requirements • 5+ years of recent, continuous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal at a law firm (not residential-only) • Hands-on title, survey, and closing experience — you can run a closing from start to post-closing independently • Stable employment history with no pattern of frequent job changes • Able to be in the Roseland, NJ office 5 days a week • Strong attention to detail and polished written work product
