Job description

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong AI/Generative AI experience to support an enterprise technology initiative in Northern Virginia. You will lead the design and development of Java-based enterprise applications built on Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs, and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into them. This is a 100% onsite role in the McLean / Herndon / Reston, VA area. • Provide technical leadership for Java/J2EE enterprise application development • Design and build Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs • Define and guide enterprise application architecture • Integrate AI, Generative AI and LLM capabilities into enterprise applications • Deploy and support applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Drive CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices across the team • Design and optimize database and SQL solutions • Communicate with and manage expectations of business and technical stakeholders
