A global insurance organization is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineering and DevOps Lead to oversee enterprise cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, CI/CD, security, and platform governance. This hands-on technical leadership role includes overseeing a distributed team while retaining direct responsibility for architecture, engineering implementation, and troubleshooting. RESPONSIBILITIES Define AWS infrastructure standards, architecture, and roadmap.Lead a distributed technical engineering team.Design secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and network connectivity.Create reusable Terraform modules and standardize infrastructure automation.Own GitHub administration and CI/CD pipelines.Implement cloud security, monitoring, and governance controls.Support enterprise application migrations and cloud enablement.Improve cloud resilience, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. Role Requirements 10+ years infrastructure/cloud/DevOps engineering experience.5+ years hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering.3+ years technical-team leadership.AWS networking expertise across VPCs, routing, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity.Terraform/Terragrunt module development.GitHub administration and GitHub Actions.AWS security, IAM, and cloud governance.Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.Docker and ECS/EKS.FinOps exposure and relevant degree or equivalent experience. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Advanced AWS certifications.AWS Bedrock or enterprise AI integration.Insurance or financial-services background.Security and compliance framework knowledge.
