Job description

ABOUT US We're living through a fundamental shift in how people discover, evaluate, and purchase products. The next generation doesn't respond to traditional marketing -- they build relationships with brands through authentic social interactions, seek recommendations from communities they trust, and expect personalized experiences that feel human, not corporate. At Nectar, we're building the AI-native social operating system that enables this new era of commerce. We believe every social interaction should deepen the relationship between brands and their communities while creating genuine value for both sides. Cosmetics, Kosas, OLIPOP, and many more. We're building the future of social commerce -- where community, conversation, and commerce converge. In this role, you'll own the full sales cycle for enterprise customers adopting AI-powered workflows across social, marketing, creator, and customer experience teams. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of AI, social commerce, and enterprise SaaS. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close - Build and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities across consumer brands in beauty, CPG, e-commerce, retail, and lifestyle - Lead multi-threaded sales processes with stakeholders across marketing, social, customer experience, and digital teams - Partner with solutions and customer success teams to deliver tailored demos, pilots, and onboarding experiences - Develop strategic account plans that align Nectar’s platform with customer goals and growth initiatives - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to share customer insights and influence product direction - Represent Nectar at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings to build pipeline and brand awareness WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years of SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota in enterprise environments - Experience selling into consumer brands across e-commerce, beauty, CPG, retail, or similar industries - Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with high-value contracts - Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers - Deep understanding of the marketing technology landscape and enterprise buying processes - High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in fast-moving startup environments - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach BONUS POINTS - Experience selling AI, automation, or social media management platforms - Existing relationships with marketing, social, or digital leaders at major consumer brands - Experience at a high-growth Series A or Series B startup - Familiarity with AI-native tools and workflows - Experience closing deals with large enterprise brands WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive compensation and early equity - Health, vision, and dental benefits + 401(k) match - ClassPass membership for fitness and wellness classes - $50/month mobile stipend for all employees, and $50/month internet stipend for remote employees For our Palo Alto Office: - Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, plus 3 remote flex days per quarter (after your first 3 months) - Free lunch in the heart of University Ave. in Palo Alto - $1,000/month housing stipend for living near the office - Fully paid for commuter benefits (train stipend or Palo Alto parking reimbursement)
