Job description

Who You Are You are a consultative, full‑suite seller who loves working with independent primary care practices. You are energized by sitting across from a physician owner, understanding what keeps them up at night, and co‑designing a path that helps them stay independent, care for their sickest senior patients, and get paid fairly for that work whether that path runs through full‑risk Medicare Advantage, MSSP, MSO revenue cycle support, or some combination of the three. You balance discipline around goals and pipeline with a partnership mindset that builds long‑term, trusted relationships rather than transactional sales, and you’re comfortable carrying a multi‑product quota without losing focus. If you are “all in” on helping independent medicine thrive, we want to talk to you. Who We Are Oasis Health Partners (Oasis) is building healthier communities by advancing primary care. We partner with patients, providers, and plans to provide personalized, local care for seniors. We believe that patient needs come first, and that primary care is the foundation of patient-centric healthcare. With Oasis, patients receive better access and care. Providers receive the data, resources, and expertise to be successful in value-based care arrangements. Payors get the benefit of a solution that improves performance, drives growth, and reduces the total cost of care in hard-to-engage markets. Together, we will boldly advance primary care for those that need it most. We are excited for you to join us on this journey. We invite you to be a part of Oasis, where you will discover we listen first, do the right thing, build things together, and go all in -- while having fun! Your Role The Director of Business Development – North Carolina is responsible for growing Oasis’s footprint of independent primary care practices in your state by selling our full suite of offerings - Medicare Advantage full‑risk VBC, MSSP, and MSO services including revenue cycle management. You will lead with whichever offering solves the practice’s most pressing problem and build toward a broader relationship from there: for some practices that’s a straight path into full‑risk Medicare Advantage; for others it’s MSSP participation or a standalone RCM/MSO engagement that earns trust first. Success in this role is measured by growth in attributed Medicare lives across Medicare Advantage and MSSP, net new independent PCP contracts, and MSO/RCM revenue you bring into the network. You will report to the North Carolina Market Executive Director and work closely with market and central teams to design and execute a thoughtful, repeatable growth strategy for your state. As the Director of Business Development – North Carolina, you will: Build and execute a market‑specific growth plan across all three offerings - Medicare Advantage, MSSP, and MSO/RCM - focused on independent PCPs and IPAs across the state. Manage a disciplined, multi‑product pipeline that consistently delivers growth in attributed Medicare lives, net new independent PCP contracts, and MSO/RCM revenue - tracked and forecasted separately given their different sales cycles. Lead a consultative sales process with physician owners, practice leaders, and - for MSO/RCM deals - office managers and billing staff, tailoring the conversation to their mix of Medicare Advantage, MSSP, revenue cycle, and other practice‑level needs. Clearly explain how Oasis’s Medicare Advantage, MSSP, and MSO/RCM offerings each work - and how they fit together - so practices understand how Oasis helps them stay independent, care for complex senior patients, and improve financial sustainability. Actively sell Oasis’s MSO services - revenue cycle management, EMR transition support, purchasing/GPO, and care management - both as a standalone offer to practices not yet ready for full‑risk VBC and as an add‑on for existing Medicare Advantage or MSSP practices. Build strong relationships with physicians, office managers, and care teams through regular in‑person meetings, local events, and proactive outreach. Identify and close MSSP ACO participation deals for practices for whom shared‑savings risk is a better near‑term fit than full‑risk Medicare Advantage, and manage the longer, more programmatic sales cycle MSSP typically requires. Partner closely with market leadership, provider success, clinical, operations, and MSO/RCM implementation teams to ensure a smooth handoff from initial agreement to successful onboarding and performance - regardless of which offering(s) the practice signed for. Provide structured field feedback on provider needs, objections, and market dynamics - across Medicare Advantage, MSSP, and MSO/RCM - to help refine our product, enablement services, and go‑to‑market messaging. Help refine and localize pitch materials and talking points so they resonate with independent PCPs in your state. Represent Oasis at local primary care, IPA, and Medicare‑focused events as a champion for independent medicine. About You You have a proven track record selling to physicians and practice leaders in a consultative, multi‑stakeholder environment - ideally across more than one of: Medicare Advantage/MSSP risk enablement, MSO or revenue cycle management services, EMR solutions, or health‑system/provider‑services outreach. You understand the basics of Medicare value‑based care and the differences between full‑risk Medicare Advantage and MSSP - including how their sales cycles, buyer conversations, and financial upside for the practice differ - and you are eager to deepen that expertise. You know enough about practice revenue cycle operations (coding, billing, AR, denials management) to sell an MSO/RCM engagement on its own merits, to a buyer (often an office manager or CFO‑type) who may care more about cash flow than attributed lives. You care deeply about independent primary care and can speak credibly to the challenges these practices face: staying independent, caring for complex seniors, and building a sustainable business. You are skilled at uncovering practice‑level needs and tailoring how you position solutions, rather than relying on a one‑size‑fits‑all pitch. You are disciplined about pipeline management and comfortable using a CRM and other tools to track activity, forecast results, and manage follow‑through. You work well in a matrixed environment and know how to pull in internal partners (clinical, provider success, operations, contracting, marketing) to advance opportunities and deliver on commitments. You are an excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain long‑term relationships. You understand and respect compliance requirements for working with physicians and selling within healthcare. You have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience selling directly to physicians and their teams. Experience with Medicare VBC, MSSP/ACO, or RCM/MSO solutions is strongly preferred - experience across more than one is a plus. You are based in North Carolina (or have deep market familiarity) and are willing to travel extensively across the state to be in practices on a regular basis. Salary Range $118,000 — $160,000 USD The salary range listed reflects the full compensation range for this role level at Oasis and is designed to support growth over time. Actual offers may vary based on a candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with the scope of the role. Offers near the top of the range are uncommon and generally reflect exceptionally deep, directly relevant experience. At this time, we are unable to sponsor employment visas.
