About Attention
At Attention , we’re transforming how go-to-market teams operate by turning every customer interaction into structured data, insights, and intelligent action. Our AI agents help organizations execute faster, learn continuously, and make every deal cycle more efficient and predictable.
What makes Attention exciting isn’t just the technology, it’s the moment and the mission. We’re building at the intersection of AI, automation, and the modern revenue stack, redefining how critical work gets done for years to come. This is a rare opportunity to build at an inflection point in both our company and the broader AI ecosystem.
We’re scaling quickly with strong product-market fit and support from world-class investors. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth across personal, professional, and financial dimensions is unmatched. Our team is sharp, collaborative, and deeply committed to the mission. We move fast, operate with intensity, and take real ownership from early ideas through long-term outcomes.
If you thrive in ambiguity, push for excellence, and want to help shape the future of work alongside a team that raises the bar every day, we’d love for you to build with us.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Attention, you’ll work directly with our customers to design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate critical GTM workflows. You’ll translate messy, high-value business problems into structured, production-ready solutions that drive measurable impact.
You’ll work across engineering, product, and customer success, building in the field, iterating fast, and feeding insights from real-world use back into the platform. This is a hands-on role for builders who move quickly, wear multiple hats, and take ownership from concept to deployment.
What You’ll Do
• Build and deploy AI agents that automate workflows and generate structured outputs
• Work directly with customers to map processes, identify opportunities, and deliver working solutions fast
• Use your experience with automation/data orchestration tools (like Zapier, n8n, Retool) to connect systems, prototype logic, and ship production-ready automations
• Ship end-to-end: scope, prototype, test, and harden workflows for reliability and scale
• Collaborate with product and engineering to turn bespoke deployments into reusable platform capabilities
• Ensure every agent you build is observable, maintainable, and tied to real business outcomes
• Ship platform features alongside customer work : define scope, make prioritization calls, and build for the cases that scale rather than the one account in front of you
What You’ll Bring
• Experience building and deploying production-grade software or automations
• Proven experience with automation tools ; you’ve built real workflows or tools and can move fast from idea to execution
• Comfort scripting in Python or JavaScript and integrating APIs or webhooks when needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills ; able to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams
• Customer-facing experience ; you’re comfortable leading conversations, managing relationships, and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Curiosity about AI systems, automation, and structured data pipelines
Why This Role Matters
Forward Deployed Engineers are the connective tissue between our customers and our product. You’ll bring the Attention platform to life in the field, translating customer needs into tangible AI-driven workflows that move the needle on revenue.
You’ll operate with autonomy, see your work in production within days, and directly shape how companies adopt AI in their go-to-market motion.
If you’re a hands-on builder who moves fast, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to work at the intersection of engineering, product, and real customer impact, we’d love to meet you.
