Unix/Linux/ ITSM process knowledge 3. SRE skillsets Overview Seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve system reliability, solve complex problems, and build and automate CI/CD pipelines. This role drives DevOps best practices, reduces manual processes, and improves production readiness through collaboration across development, operations, and product teams. Key Responsibilities • Support the full service lifecycle, from design and deployment through production operations and continuous improvement. • Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. • Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and overall health. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system resiliency. • Implement automation, operational standards, and risk mitigation practices. • Support release management, code promotion, and deployments across multiple environments. • Collaborate with development and product teams to improve reliability and customer experience. • Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. • Experience with scripting, software design, troubleshooting, and automation. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory. • Proven experience with Chef recipes, cookbooks, and automated deployment processes. • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD workflows that minimize manual effort. • Programming experience in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C/C++, Go, Perl, or Ruby. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and mak Interested candidates send your resume to alex@amtexenterprises.com
