Job description
About Us:
At Nace AI, we are redefining how professional services operate by delivering Sovereign Specialized Intelligence. As an applied research and product company, we equip enterprises with a comprehensive AI stack to build customized, secure intelligence tailored to their unique business needs.
Driven by advanced Small Language Models and our dynamic metamodel framework, our flagship platforms - Nace Data Intelligence and the Nace SLM Cloud - enable true end-to-end business process automation. The result is transformative ROI: professional services firms using Nace AI are currently recovering 1,000 hours per client engagement, drastically reducing overhead and accelerating delivery.
The work we are doing has a meaningful impact across industries, and every hire at Nace AI plays a critical role in shaping the company’s trajectory. This is a unique opportunity to join a high conviction AI company at an early stage and directly influence its growth.
If building a world-class AI team from the ground up excites you, we’d love to talk.
What You’ll Do
- Full-cycle recruiting for critical technical and business roles — from proactive sourcing and cold outreach to closing candidates and scaling teams from the ground up.
- Design and implement scalable hiring processes, including structured interviews, scorecards, and recruiting metrics that evolve with company growth.
- Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and translate business priorities into actionable hiring strategies.
- Build and nurture high-quality talent pipelines across AI/ML, engineering, and other key functions.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our standards, ambition, and values.
- Act as a strategic storyteller — articulating Nace AI’s mission and long-term vision in a way that attracts top-tier talent in a competitive market.
Who Your Are
We aren't looking for a specific number of years on a resume; we’re looking for the right DNA. Whether you’ve been doing this for two years or ten, if you have the technical intuition to vet engineers and the hunger to build a world-class team from the ground up, you belong here.
The Must Haves
- Technical Fluency: You don't just "keyword match." You understand the nuances of Engineering, AI/ML, and infra, and you can speak the language of the candidates you’re chasing.
- The "Hunter" Instinct: You can find and engage elite, passive talent.
- High-Growth Grit: You thrive in the organized chaos of an early-stage startup. You don’t need a manual; you build the manual.
- Compelling Communication: You are a storyteller who can influence both skeptical candidates and internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Radical Ownership: You are highly organized and can juggle high-priority searches without letting a single candidate experience slip through the cracks.
- Builder Background: You have a technical degree and have previously worked in a technical role.
Bonus points
- Architect Mindset: You’ve built a recruiting function or interview process from scratch before.
- Local Pulse: You have a strong network or familiarity with the Bay Area technical talent ecosystem.
