Job description

Lead the Future of Dentistry. Overjet is the world-leader in dental AI. Already, thousands of dental providers and insurers rely on our platform to deliver the best possible care. Now, we’re looking for talented people to fulfill our mission: improve oral health for all. Overjet is where builders become leaders. Everyone here loves to make new things: new products, new partnerships, new content, and a new category of AI technology. And as Overjet grows ridiculously fast, so will you. Simply put, there’s no better place to accelerate your career. Come join us! The Role As an Account Executive for the Overjet SMB segment (private dental practices), you own the full sales cycle end to end: finding the dental practices worth pursuing, understanding what's actually costing them cases or revenue, building the argument for AI in language a clinician trusts, and closing it. There's no handoff of a warm lead to make this easier — you're building your own pipeline through networking and prospecting, running the pitch yourself to the owner-dentist, and being accountable for hitting a number every month, quarter, and year. When you close, you hand the relationship to Customer Success — everything before that is on you. This is a job for someone who's genuinely energized by earning trust from a skeptical clinical expert, not just working a funnel. If the idea of convincing a doctor that a platform can help them practice better dentistry sounds like a fun problem rather than an uphill one, keep reading. What you'll own - Your own pipeline — identifying and prospecting private practices worth pursuing - Diagnosing what a given practice actually needs: where they're losing revenue, missing cases, or falling short of the standard of care, and translating that into a case for AI that lands with a clinician. - Pitching directly to owner-dentists and other key stakeholders, and running the full cycle from first conversation to signed deal. - An accurate forecast — you're the source of truth on what's really going to close and when. - A smooth handoff to the assigned Customer Success Manager once the deal is done, so the relationship doesn't lose momentum at exactly the moment it should be building. Who Thrives in this Role You should already know what full-cycle B2B SaaS sales actually feels like — the prospecting, the forecasting discipline, the accountability to a number — ideally with real experience selling into healthcare, where the buyer's judgment and reputation are part of what you're up against. Multi-product selling experience matters here too, since you'll often be building the case for more than one thing at once. More than the résumé line items, though, this role rewards someone who gets a charge out of changing a skeptical expert's mind, who doesn't flinch at hustling for a number in a high-growth environment, and who's willing to get on a plane for a meeting that matters. If you need a mature, well-defined buying process to sell effectively, this segment will frustrate you. If you'd rather build the process yourself and be judged purely on results, this is the seat. - Bachelors Degree preferred - Closing skills required - 3 years of work experience preferred but please apply if you don't meet all criteria! Why Overjet? - Competitive Compensation and Equity - Hybrid workplace that provides flexibility, vibrant in-person workspaces, and the ability to build strong connections across all of Overjet - regardless of location - 401k plans with a matching program - Medical, Dental and Vision coverage: 99% employee premium covered, 75% dependent premium covered - Life and AD+D Insurance - 8 weeks Paid Parental Leave - Optional HSA with Employer contribution - Flexible Time Off and company paid holidays Our Hybrid Workplace We have a unique hybrid workplace at Overjet — which combines the teamwork of meeting in person, with the flexibility of working from anywhere.
