Job description

About Haus Haus is the causal marketing platform top businesses trust to optimize billions in ad spend worldwide. With support from PhD economists, data scientists, and growth experts, Haus’ AI-driven technology translates complex marketing measurement into clear action and outcomes, enabling brands like Dyson, Wayfair, Sonos, Fanduel, SharkNinja, and Intuit to optimize spend, accelerate growth, and make smarter marketing decisions at scale. What you'll do: Haus has something most B2B companies spend years trying to build: a brand that marketers genuinely care about. Our customers post about us unprompted, share Haus memes, and introduce us to other marketers. Events are where you see the Haus community at its best. These are the rooms where the world’s most innovative marketers learn from one another, and where word-of-mouth fuels our pipeline. We're looking for an Event & Field Marketing Lead to own events end to end. You'll own our events strategy and execution across both Haus owned and sponsored events. You’ll be responsible for designing experiences that authentically communicate who Haus is and what we stand for - from intimate thought-leadership gatherings to activations at industry tentpoles. This is a build role. You'll work closely with marketing leadership on where we should show up, and from there it's yours: the design, the execution, and the follow-through. Responsibilities will include: - Partner with marketing leadership to define our event marketing strategy: which events, which formats, and which accounts we want in the room, that tie directly to our business objectives - Own the full slate of events – Haus-owned events and executive dinners, partner and sponsored events, conferences and summits, and roadshows - Run end-to-end execution: partnering with product marketing, content marketing, and customer marketing on event messaging and materials. You will own site selection, vendor and contract negotiation, registration, agenda, staffing, signage, on-site production, and logistics - Own the event marketing budget and the tradeoff decisions within it - Partner with Sales, Demand Generation, and BDR on target account selection, pre-event outreach, on-site coverage, and post-event follow-up, so the accounts we want are in the room and actually worked afterward - Own post-event measurement on pipeline impact, and call it what it is on what to repeat and what to kill - Test new formats and engagement models, and find the ones that work for both technical and not-technical audiences Qualifications - 5–7 years in field/event marketing (ideally in B2B) including owning programs end to end - A track record of getting Sales to show up and follow through — you know how to earn reps' trust, get accounts worked before and after the event, and chase the follow-up without authority over anyone - A track record of tying events to pipeline and revenue, not just attendance - Experience running a portfolio of formats at once — owned events, sponsorships, conferences, roadshows — with real budget accountability - Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills - Calm under last-minute change; you re-plan rather than freeze - Comfort operating without a finished playbook — you bring structure to ambiguity Nice to have - Experience in marketing or ad tech (or willingness to get fluent fast) - Experience marketing to senior marketing, analytics, or finance buyers - Experience at a company making the mid-market-to-enterprise transition - Experience building a field/event marketing program from scratch - Small-format and executive dinner experience, not only large conferences How Haus is Different We're a customer-obsessed, high-ownership team that would rather run an experiment than argue in a meeting. We work in small, lean pods where each person is a bar raiser in some area, and we move fast without waiting for a playbook. We value impact over activity, curiosity over comfort, and small inexact steps over large impeccable leaps. AI is part of how we work. We use it every day to move faster and think more clearly, and we look for people who are curious about new tools and fluent in putting them to work. What we care about is your judgment: AI should sharpen your thinking, not stand in for it. What we offer If you're energized by solving dynamic problems, enjoy working in lean, collaborative teams, and thrive in ever-evolving environments, you'll feel at home here. We invest in exceptional people who want to grow quickly and help shape the future of the company. Some of our benefits include: - Flexible PTO - take time when you need it! - Equity – Startup environment with part-ownership in our successes - Top of the line health, dental, and vision insurance - multiple plan options so you can pick what fits you best - WFH stipend to support the set up you need to be productive - Events & Offsites – opportunities to connect and celebrate in real life! - Free Lunch – Grab a bite on us when you choose to work from the office (hub locations include SF, NYC and Seattle) - New Parent Leave – take time to welcome your newest Hausmate We value in-person collaboration at Haus and give preference to candidates within commuting distance of our offices in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City. Haus is an equal opportunity employer. We make hiring decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status. We believe diverse perspectives make us stronger and are committed to an inclusive culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to contribute. Bring your authentic self — we would love to hear from you.
