Job description

About Haus Haus is the causal marketing platform top businesses trust to optimize billions in ad spend worldwide. With support from PhD economists, data scientists, and growth experts, Haus’ AI-driven technology translates complex marketing measurement into clear action and outcomes, enabling brands like Dyson, Wayfair, Sonos, Fanduel, SharkNinja, and Intuit to optimize spend, accelerate growth, and make smarter marketing decisions at scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Haus has something most B2B companies spend years trying to build: a brand that marketers genuinely care about. Our customers talk about us on LinkedIn, share Haus memes, and introduce us to other marketers. That kind of word of mouth is hard to manufacture, and we have it. Now we need to turn that momentum into a predictable enterprise demand engine. As our Director of Demand Generation, you'll own the strategy and execution behind that effort. You'll define our target accounts, sharpen how we talk to them, build the programs that get us in the door, and create a repeatable path from first touch to pipeline. This is a hands-on build role. You'll own the pipeline number, define our ICP and segmentation, build the underlying data and processes, and work closely with Sales and Product Marketing to turn what we know about our customers into campaigns that work. You'll manage one direct report today, along with agency and contractor relationships RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Enterprise & ABM - Own our enterprise demand strategy, including defining and prioritizing target accounts using market data, intent signals, AI, and other modern tools. - Build and run account-based programs around enterprise pain points, buying signals, and expansion opportunities, with multi-touch and multi-threaded campaigns designed for complex buying committees. - Partner closely with Sales on account selection, campaign strategy, handoffs, and feedback loops, creating a consistent operating rhythm between the two teams. - Expand our reach to new buying audiences, including analytics and data science leaders, and turn customer advocacy and word of mouth into repeatable demand through references, customer stories, executive advocates, and community programs. Targeting, Messaging & Channels - Own ICP, segmentation, and Demand Gen messaging, developing segment-specific value propositions, testing them in market, and partnering with Product Marketing to sharpen our differentiation against legacy vendors and competitors. - Own the Demand Gen budget and channel strategy across paid, content, email/lifecycle, events, webinars, and sponsorships, with responsibility for setting priorities and measuring impact. - Bring a pipeline mindset to every program, from paid acquisition to executive dinners, masterclasses, conferences, and roadshows, ensuring each has a clear objective and connection to pipeline. Measurement & Operations - Build the Demand Gen operating system, including pipeline modeling, reporting, attribution, funnel measurement, and performance tracking by segment, stage, and enterprise vs. core business. - Use data to continuously improve our programs and spend, while being comfortable making decisions when attribution isn't perfect or the data is incomplete. Team - Manage and develop one direct report, while overseeing agency and contractor relationships. QUALIFICATIONS - 6–10 years of experience in Demand Generation, with direct ownership of a pipeline number. - Experience building an ABM or enterprise demand motion from the ground up - we're more interested in someone who has built the engine than someone who has only optimized an existing one. - A track record of generating pipeline in enterprise sales environments with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles. - Experience defining an ICP and developing messaging for different audiences. - Comfortable getting hands-on with intent, signal, and other Demand Gen tooling. - Strong understanding of paid acquisition and the ability to set strategy, manage budgets, and hold an agency accountable. - Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to attribution, funnel reporting, and pipeline modeling. - A strong track record of partnering with Sales. NICE TO HAVE - Marketing to marketers, or selling martech, measurement, or analytics. - Experience at a company making the mid-market-to-enterprise transition. - Familiarity with ad tech, media buying, marketing analytics - A history of displacing entrenched legacy vendors. - Early-stage experience where you built the function rather than joined it. HOW HAUS IS DIFFERENT We're a small, high-ownership team. We'd rather run an experiment than spend three weeks debating it. We move quickly, test ideas, and expect everyone to bring their own point of view. We care more about impact than activity and learning than getting everything right the first time. This is a build role. You won't inherit a finished ICP, target list, or Demand Gen playbook - you'll help create them. The infrastructure isn't all there yet, and building it is part of the job. Paid media matters, but the bigger goal is turning Haus's strong brand and customer advocacy into predictable enterprise pipeline. AI is part of how we work. We use it every day to move faster and think more clearly, and we look for people who are curious about new tools and fluent in putting them to work. What we care about is your judgment: AI should sharpen your thinking, not stand in for it. WHAT WE OFFER If you're energized by solving dynamic problems, enjoy working in lean, collaborative teams, and thrive in ever-evolving environments, you’ll feel at home here. We invest in exceptional people who want to grow quickly and help shape the future of the company. Some of our benefits include: - Flexible PTO - take time when you need it! - Equity – Startup environment with part-ownership in our successes - Top of the line health, dental, and vision insurance - multiple plan options so you can pick what fits you best - WFH stipend to support the set up you need to be productive - Events & Offsites – opportunities to connect and celebrate in real life! - Free Lunch – Grab a bite on us when you choose to work from the office (hub locations include SF, NYC and Seattle) - New Parent Leave – take time to welcome your newest Hausmate We value in-person collaboration at Haus and give preference to candidates within commuting distance of our offices in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City. Haus is an equal opportunity employer. Bring your authentic self — we would love to hear from you.
