WHY F2
F2 is redefining how the financial sector operates by bridging the gap between legacy workflows in institutional finance and the future of AI-driven efficiency. While large financial firms make up the backbone of the economy, their front and middle-office processes are still manual, spreadsheet-heavy, and fragmented. We've built the leading vertical AI platform for private markets and commercial banking. We transform dense, unstructured deal materials into auditable, decision-ready insights in minutes.
This role is a unique opportunity to join a small, talent-dense team building on the bleeding edge of AI for finance.
The Role
Deployment Strategists use their financial proficiency and AI fluency to maximize customer usage of the F2 platform. They own portfolios of accounts end-to-end, working with partner teams at F2 to drive sales, deploy the product, expand existing relationships, and inform our product roadmap.
You'll partner with Account Executives on new business and with Product and Engineering on what we build next. Expect to spend most of your week in front of clients and building workflows inside the platform.
You Will
- Work with Account Executives to win clients: You'll play a key role in the trial process: customizing the F2 platform, building relationships, and helping power users make an ROI case to their broader organization.
- Customize the platform and drive usage: You'll be the client's day-to-day contact at F2: identifying and prompt engineering new workflows, training new users, and expanding into new teams that can benefit from F2.
- Act as the voice of the client to our product team: We aim to build the best product in the market. You'll identify clients' product wishlists, communicate requirements to our Product and Engineering teams, and test new features at the forefront of AI for finance.
- Grow revenue with existing clients: You’ll monitor client usage trends and identify the right time to pitch and execute on expansion and upsell opportunities.
You Have
- 2-5 years of experience in and around private markets at a top-tier private credit, private equity, bank, or private markets-facing consulting firm
- Alternatively, 4+ years of experience in customer-facing software or AI roles interfacing with private markets or banking clients
- Demonstrable interest in AI inside or outside of work. You've iterated on a prompt, tried building side projects, and keep up with the state of AI.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences. You can explain complex concepts to non-technical finance professionals.
- Commerciality and professional polish. You're excited to spend hours in front of clients, drive commercial discussions, and be the direct owner of complex, multi-thread engagements.
- A desire to work in NYC. We believe the best work is done together, in person at our HQ in NYC, with flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
You'll Get
- Direct ownership. You'll run your accounts end-to-end, from trial through renewal and expansion with meaningful upside based on your success.
- To work alongside a world-class team in a fast-paced startup environment. F2 is a small, talent-dense group from elite investment banks, private markets firms, and startups.
- A front-row seat with clients. You'll work directly with investors and bankers at top private credit, private equity, and banking firms, and you'll build relationships that follow you for the rest of your career.
- Room to grow in your own direction. Early strategists will define this function, and the first ones here are the natural candidates to lead it, move into product, or build out GTM.
- Experience at the frontier of AI. You'll help capture the latest improvements in AI and turn them into outcomes for your clients.
