Vernon , California Direct Hire Oct 22, 2026 Technical Designer Our client, a premium denim brand with a laid-back, California-cool point of view, is looking for a Technical Design Associate to join their growing team. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with an onsite 5 day/week schedule. This is a great opportunity for a detail-minded technical designer to help turn creative ideas into polished, production-ready garments. You will support the Senior Technical Designer and Technical Design Manager while working hand in hand with designers, pattern makers, and production partners in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. What you will be doing Building and updating detailed tech packs, including construction details, measurements, and technical sketches, so design and production stay perfectly aligned Joining fit sessions to take notes, assist with pattern and spec adjustments, and measure samples and prototypes against quality standards Partnering with designers, pattern makers, and production teams to resolve technical issues and protect the design intent Communicating with suppliers and manufacturers to answer technical questions and keep production accurate and on schedule Keeping fitting notes, sample approvals, and the technical design database organized, and helping prepare materials for technical design reviews What they are looking for 3 to 5 years of technical design experience in the fashion industry, with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field Solid knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fabric properties, and fitting Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, plus experience with Gerber or Optitex A basic understanding of PLM systems and data management Strong attention to detail, great organization, and the flexibility to juggle shifting priorities as a team player Salary: 75k DOE
