Van Nuys , California Direct Hire Sep 18, 2026 Senior Designer+ Our client, a well-established, apparel company known for its licensed product lines, is looking for a Sr. Apparel Designer to join their growing team in Van Nuys, CA. This is a fully onsite role, five days a week. This is a great opportunity for a design leader who thrives on building products from the ground up, from concept through tech pack, across a wide range of categories. You'll partner closely with Product Development and Sales to shape the vision for new and elevated product lines, balancing creativity with quality, comfort, and cost. It's a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership over the design process and the chance to influence direction across multiple product types. What you will be doing Developing design standards and creating original designs and detailed tech packs for new and elevated products Collaborating with Product Developers and Sales teams to establish the vision and direction for upcoming lines Designing across knit and woven garments Ensuring all designs meet quality, comfort, and cost targets throughout development Applying strong color and fabric knowledge to elevate product assortments season over season What they are looking for Several years of experience in apparel design, ideally within licensed products Experience working with major entertainment or character-based licensors (Disney experience is a strong plus) Strong technical design skills, including tech pack creation and construction knowledge A sharp eye for color, print, and fabrication across multiple product categories Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product development and sales teams in a fast-paced environment Salary: 100k+ DOE
