Content Creator - YouTube at Corporate Tools

Job description

Overview Corporate Tools is hiring a Video Content Creator- YouTube. This is a full time, 40 hour a week position with company benefits. We need someone local to our Post Falls, ID or Spokane, WA Location. (We have like, cool equipment and sets and stuff). We’re looking for someone who loves being in front of a camera, and knows their way around behind the scenes as well. You know how to make videos that pull people in. Videos that make people stop scrolling, laugh, think, and stick around. Planning, shooting, editing, and post work is all in a day's work. You understand how thumbnails, captions, and timing all work together. Giant crews and fancy gear are great, but you just need an idea, a camera, and a little spark to make something magical. If you’ve built a following on social media by being yourself, using creativity and consistency to turn viewers into a community, you’ll fit right in. You’ll be helping millions of people start and run their businesses. If you're the person for this job, that last sentence should inspire you. If you feel this role is the right fit for you, we’d love to see your application! Please include some examples of your content along with your cover letter on the applications page! Wage Up to $100,000 / year Benefits • 100% employer-paid medical, dental & vision Full coverage for employees — nothing comes out of your paycheck. Plus an annual review with a raise option. • Time off that grows with you 22 days PTO + 4 holidays to start. After 3 years it bumps to 29 days, and after 5 years you move to flexible time off — not accrued, not capped. Take time off when you want. • Parental leave & 401(k) match Paid parental leave, plus up to 6% company 401(k) matching with no vesting period — it’s yours from day one. • Quarterly allowance Spend it on whatever makes work better: a comfier remote setup, continuing-education classes, a plant for your desk, coffee for a coworker, a massage for yourself… really, whatever. • No dumb perks (and a trail mix bar) No weekend dog-walking gimmicks that look cool but cost nothing because nobody uses them. We spend on benefits you’ll actually use — an open-concept office, friendly coworkers, a creative environment, and yeah… a trail mix bar. Responsibilities • Be the face and the voice in videos that educate, entertain, and inspire business owners. • Plan, shoot, and edit short and long form content for YouTube. • Come up with video topics that connect with real people, not robots. • Shoot a video off the cuff, or from a prompt in the most natural way possible. • Create graphics, captions, and titles that make content pop. • Post content using the right mechanics and timing to maximize engagement. • Engage with followers, reply to comments, and help build a community that feels alive. • Track what works (views, comments, retention) and use it to make the next video better. • Keep an eye on trends, sounds, and formats, and test them with our audience. Requirements • 2–4 years of experience creating video content for social media or similar platforms. • Proven ability to plan, film, edit, and publish videos on your own. • Strong storytelling instincts and an authentic on camera presence. • Experience using editing software and social posting tools. • Understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and how to grow engagement. • You’re curious, flexible, and willing to experiment until you find what works. • You care about the craft. You want your work to be seen, shared, and remembered.
