Job description

Most sales leaders spend their careers convincing the market it needs their product. Ours already knows. We help thousands of businesses make a meaningful impact on millions of people every month. Our products don't just help our clients grow. They help them show up for families when it matters most. If reimagining how we sell, scaling the team and unleashing several game-changers doesn't scare you, keep reading. ABOUT US At Hello Innovation, we're more than just a company; we're a force for change. As the parent company to an ever-growing portfolio of businesses, we're making the world a radically better place through meaningful innovation. Here, it's not about the daily grind; it's about making a real difference, challenging the norm, breaking boundaries, and rewriting what's possible. We started from scratch—no investors, no debt—just a relentless drive that has led us to impact over a billion lives through our products. And we're just getting started. We're an eclectic team of dreamers, creators and doers, united in our mission to deliver work that truly matters. If you're looking to be inspired, challenged and leave work every day knowing you did the best work of your life, you've come to the right place. ABOUT THE JOB Scale it. Reimagine it. Own the number. As our VP of Sales, you'll take our sales organization to the next level. You'll reimagine how we sell, grow the team and bring our newest products to market. Along the way, you'll use AI to make every rep sharper and faster. Our solutions lead the market. You're not here to convince anyone they need us. You're here to make sure every customer who should have us, does. ABOUT YOU • You'd rather ride a rocket than push a boulder. The demand is there and the runway is long. You know how to turn untapped potential into record growth, and you can't wait to get started. • You're an architect in a hard hat. You design sales orgs that scale, then get on site and build them. You've taken good teams and made them great, and the reps you've coached have gone on to crush it. • You'd rather run a deal than a meeting about a deal. Leading from the front is second nature. When a big opportunity needs a closer, you're on the call, not waiting for the recap. • Your forecast has a better track record than the weatherman. You call your number and you hit it. Gut feel isn't a methodology. Pipeline math is. • Your pipeline runs on AI, not hope. You already use AI to find prospects, predict outcomes and coach reps. You don't just know the tools; you've built workflows your team actually uses. • You build a playbook, not a personality cult. Great reps are great. Great systems make every rep great. Your process is documented, repeatable and works whether you're in the room or not. • You speak fluent owner-operator. You've won where the buyer signs their own checks and decides fast. No nine-month cycles, no procurement mazes, no SDR army required. • New product launch? You've already got the pitch. We have several big launches on deck. You love taking new products to market and turning a launch into revenue before the confetti settles. • You don't sell like a vendor. You educate like a partner. Customers trust you because every conversation leaves them smarter than before. You win because they're better off for having talked to you. • You get sh*t done. You've worked with small, scrappy teams and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, no babysitter required. • This isn't your first rodeo. With 10+ years in B2B sales (SaaS strongly preferred) and 5+ years leading teams, you've mastered Salesforce, modern sales tech and the art of scaling revenue. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Scale the team: evolve the sales org design, then recruit, hire, onboard and ramp top talent across new business and account management. • Own the revenue number and deliver predictable growth through new logos and expansion across our full product suite. • Own the sales department's business plan and budget, and invest where it drives the most growth. • Reimagine and document a repeatable sales playbook: ideal customer profile, segmentation, sales stages, qualification and handoffs. • Run inbound and outbound engines in close partnership with marketing, from lead generation through close. • Protect and grow our customer base, driving retention alongside expansion and cross-sell. • Lead go-to-market for our upcoming product launches, turning each one into revenue quickly. • Put AI to work across prospecting, forecasting and coaching, and own the sales tech stack, including Salesforce and Marketo, with the authority to shape what comes next. • Deliver accurate forecasts and clear reporting on pipeline, performance and results to the CEO. • Design compensation and incentive plans that reward the right behaviors and results. • Coach relentlessly through call reviews, deal reviews and 1:1s. • Build a high-energy culture of reward and recognition that makes winning fun. • Partner with product and marketing to bring customer insight into the roadmap, pricing and messaging. COMPENSATION AND PERKS • Meaningful work. This is not just a job. You can find a job anywhere. This is a place for the bold to get paid to give a sh*t and make a real impact on people's lives when they need it most. • Be part of something (really) big. Our products touch over 45 million people every month, and we are chasing problems that billions suffer from. Not just any problem, the ones that are filled with purpose and meaning. This is your chance to be more than a number and make history. • Don't just imagine it - create it at our Moonshot Factory. You'll have access to our newly built Dreamlab, our secret research and development lab where employees aren't focused on what's today - but what's next... Imagine a 30,000 sq ft facility with the machines, tools, and resources (from 7 axis robots to coating systems) to create...anything. • No red tape. Say goodbye to pointless meetings or political hoops to jump through. We're scrappy, believe in autonomy and empower our teams to do whatever it takes to do the unthinkable. • Learning animal culture. Learn more here than any other place on earth. We make sure you never stop growing and offer an allowance for continued learning. • We ignite the best in you. We exist not only to deliver meaningful innovation, but to ignite and inspire the creative problem solver in you. • A creative, come-as-you-are environment. Our team never stops pushing you to be the best that you can be and still makes time to have some fun. • Top of market pay & benefits. Along with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401k. • Plus many more. Additional perks include daily catered lunches, team activities, paid holidays, bonuses and much more. Diversity isn't just a checkbox. At Hello Innovation, our eclectic team from all walks of life is our secret sauce to meaningful innovation. Needless to say, we are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
