Location Denver, CO Employment Type Direct Hire Date Posted Oct 9, 2026 PeerSource is currently recruiting for multiple Azure DBAs on a Direct Hire basis. These positions must be based out of either the Denver, CO or Dallas, TX offices. Responsibilities • Follow best practices guidelines defined for databases by the DBA team. • Monitor Database performance and query throughputs. • Ensure Database are performing within their expected performance baselines. • Monitor and schedule database backups per Operational Guidelines. • Proactively monitor and action DB alerts. • Perform ad-hoc backups and restores. Sanitize data before handing over the temporary restores. • Restore backups from Production systems periodically and validate RPO and RTO SLA’s are met. • Maintain and administer DB access for users and applications. Revoke unused access periodically. • Maintain documentation for the On-call support team and the DBA team. • Monitor DB growth pattern and provide inputs for capacity planning. • Ensure compliance and assist with various regulatory requirements and internal policies & procedures. Required Skills • 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Cloud SQL, SQL data warehouse, managing, monitoring, and supporting database environments across geographic locations. • 3+ years of experience with database creation, database tuning (indexes), clustering, replication. • Working knowledge with various operating systems and platforms, specifically Windows, Debian, and related OS. • Understanding of Database Version Control, CI/CD, and Deployment is needed. • Experience with Cosmos DB, blobs, and other Storage solutions, experience with ETL tools like Talend and ADF are a plus. • Knowledge of Power BI and SSRS, knowledge of scripting capability – PowerShell, ARM templates are a plus.
