API Agentic Engineer Overview Join a cutting-edge team as an API Agentic Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of integrating AI-assisted development with high-performance software engineering. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the development of complex, cloud-native applications by leveraging your deep expertise in C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure, combined with your experience in AI-driven coding tools. As a key technical leader, you'll ensure that AI-generated code meets engineering standards while mentoring teams and shaping best practices in an innovative environment. Required Skills 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Expert proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure environments and services Proven ability to review, debug, and refactor complex codebases Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and service design Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, including unit, API, and integration testing Solid Git and code-review skills, with mentoring experience for junior to mid-level engineers Practical experience integrating AI coding tools (preferably Claude and Claude Code) into development workflows Excellent troubleshooting skills across complex applications and cloud environments Nice to Have Skills Embedded, kiosk, or device-based application development experience Hardware/infrastructure integration knowledge including peripherals like printers, scanners, and card readers Experience with IoT, edge computing, or remote device troubleshooting Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular for full-stack capabilities Experience translating manual business processes into software solutions Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field Prior experience working in cloud-native application architecture and modernization projects Demonstrated success in developing or supporting AI-assisted software workflows Other Requirements Ability to work remotely with flexibility for some overlapping hours with offshore teams, particularly around 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time Willingness to engage in continuous learning around AI tools, software quality practices, and modern development standards Strong communication skills to mentor and guide engineering teams effectively This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in technical leadership, possesses a passion for AI-driven development, and enjoys fostering innovative, high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
