We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com . We’re looking for a Senior Product Design Manager to help shape the future of EvenUp’s product design practice. Reporting to the Head of Design, you’ll lead a small team of embedded product designers while also contributing hands-on to high-impact projects. This is a true player-coach role, with about half your time spent mentoring and growing the team and the other half leading design for strategic initiatives in close partnership with engineering, product, and AI. This role offers broad scope and strategic influence across a modular, fast-evolving platform. You’ll support work spanning AI tools and workflow infrastructure, helping to architect cohesive, user-centered experiences in a technically complex space. It’s an opportunity to shape foundational design systems, build team culture, and make a lasting impact on the legal tech ecosystem we’re helping to define. What you'll do: • Lead and support a team of 4+ product designers, investing in their growth, performance, and career development. • Drive hiring for open roles on your team, partnering with recruiting and design leadership to scale our design practice. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to define strategy, scope product opportunities, and ship high-quality solutions. • Balance management responsibilities with hands-on design work—taking ownership of critical projects that contribute directly to business goals. • Champion design excellence and foster a collaborative, feedback-rich design culture grounded in user-centered thinking and high standards of execution. What we look for: • 8+ years of experience in software product design • 3+ years of experience in managing other designers. • A track record of designing impactful B2B workflow tools for complex, specialized users—experience with internal tooling and/or AI interfaces is a strong plus. • Proven ability to lead and scale a team, including hiring and developing talent. • Strong collaboration and communication skills; experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and ship high-quality work at speed. Benefits & Perks: As part of our total rewards package, we offer attractive benefits and perks to our employees, including: • Choice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family. • Additional insurance coverage options for life, accident, or critical illness. • Flexible paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability. • 10 US observed holidays, and Canadian statutory holidays by province. • A home office stipend. • 401(k) for US-based employees and RRSP for Canada-based employees. • Paid parental leave. • A local in-person meet-up program. • Hubs in San Francisco and Toronto. (Please note the above benefits & perks are for full-time employees) Notice to Candidates: To ensure fairness and proper consideration, we do not accept resumes or expressions of interest via email or social media messages.
