A large consumer-focused organization is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help evolve its frontend platform, architecture, and engineering practices across large-scale customer-facing web and mobile experiences. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring both deep frontend engineering experience and the ability to influence architecture and engineering standards across multiple teams. The engineer will help shape modern Angular applications, micro frontend architecture, shared frontend capabilities, observability, performance, operational reliability, and developer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical leadership for frontend architecture and platform engineering.Evolve Angular applications, micro frontend patterns, and reusable UI capabilities.Design scalable and maintainable customer-facing web and mobile experiences.Improve frontend observability, logging, telemetry, and performance.Partner with analytics teams on tracking, experimentation, and customer journey measurement.Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams on release automation and operational readiness.Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex production issues.Mentor engineers and influence technical standards across teams.Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural patterns supporting modernization. Role Requirements 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant frontend depth.Deep Angular experience.Strong JavaScript and TypeScript.Modern web application architecture experience.Micro frontend implementation experience.Experience with shared UI platforms or reusable frontend capabilities.Production experience supporting customer-facing web or mobile applications.Frontend observability, monitoring, telemetry, and performance experience.Strong API and distributed-system integration knowledge.Strong production troubleshooting ability.Ability to influence technical decisions across teams.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
