A large financial institution is seeking multiple Full Stack Developers to support a significant modernization initiative across business-critical commercial and consumer financial platforms. These engineers will design and develop modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native solutions using C#/.NET, Python, React or Angular, containers, cloud platforms, databases, and event-driven architectures. A particularly important part of this role is the practical use of AI-assisted software-development tools. Successful candidates should already be using technologies such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or comparable platforms to improve engineering productivity while maintaining strong standards for code quality, testing, security, reliability, and maintainability. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, test, and support modern full-stack web applications.Build backend applications, services, and integrations using C#/.NET and Python.Develop responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, or comparable modern frameworks.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.Design cloud-native services capable of operating reliably at enterprise scale.Develop, package, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Apply AI-assisted development tools throughout appropriate stages of the software-development lifecycle.Review, test, secure, and validate AI-generated code before it is introduced into production.Integrate applications with relational and non-relational databases.Contribute to event-driven applications and messaging architectures.Help modernize legacy applications into modular, scalable, cloud-native services.Partner with cloud infrastructure and architecture teams on design, deployment, scalability, security, and operational readiness.Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.Participate throughout the SDLC, including design, development, code review, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.Contribute to automation, DevOps, and continuous-delivery improvements.Develop maintainable, secure, well-tested code that meets enterprise engineering standards.Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and production issues.Document technical decisions, application behavior, APIs, and operational procedures. Role Requirements: Professional full-stack software-development experience.Strong hands-on C# and .NET development experience.Strong hands-on Python development experience.Experience building production applications or services using both .NET and Python.Practical experience using Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or comparable AI-assisted development tools.Ability to validate AI-generated code through engineering review, testing, and secure-development practices.Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.Microservices-development experience.Production experience with React and/or Angular.Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 knowledge.Docker and Kubernetes experience.Azure or AWS cloud experience.Experience developing cloud-native applications.Git and GitHub experience.Experience with relational and non-relational databases.Understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.Strong object-oriented programming and software-design fundamentals.Experience participating across the complete software-development lifecycle.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Ability to work onsite in New York City four days per week.
