Job description

Highwire, a Veriforce company, is the Contractor Success Platform for asset owners, general contractors, and facilities managers. The world’s most admired organizations use Highwire to ensure their contractors and subcontractors deliver great work, on budget and on schedule, by collaborating with them to dynamically mitigate safety, financial, quality, and sustainability risks during capital projects and facilities maintenance. To support this growth, we’re looking for a competitive, adaptable, and driven individual to join our inside sales team and grow our network of contractors. This is an ideal opportunity for someone just starting their sales career or transitioning from other industries like retail, restaurants, or hospitality. The SDR team is dedicated to enrolling new contractors, renewing existing contractors, and proactively identifying opportunities to ensure they’re getting the most value possible out of their experience on our platform. As an SDR, your mission is to expand the number of contractors using our platform through the renewal process. What you'll do: • Grow our customer base. Your first mission will be to renew existing customers before their Highwire subscription expires. Once you master that, you’ll earn the right to work on campaigns to enroll new customers - and grow your earnings in the process. • Crush your numbers. Sales is all about the numbers. You’ll have monthly revenue goals and we’ll track your progress – and the progress of your teammates – on the Team Leaderboard. You'll earn uncapped commission for meeting or exceeding targets. • Handle objections. As with any sales job, you will sometimes encounter objections from customers. You’ll partner with our Account Managers and enterprise clients to collaborate on solutions that enable us to successfully complete our renewal campaigns. Who you are: • Driven. You’re hungry to be the best, and driven to beat your goals. This competitive streak probably shows up in other areas of your life – we’ll bet you played organized sports or enjoy a heated game of Monopoly with your family after Thanksgiving dinner. • Quick on your feet . You process new information quickly and can efficiently tear through a queue or list of prospects. You can react quickly, adjust your approach situationally, and push through difficult situations. • Resilient & optimistic . You have the grit to overcome objections and don’t give up when the going gets tough. You don’t easily take no for an answer and will continue to ask questions to discover opportunities to get to “yes.” • Curious . You love learning and crave feedback from managers, peers, and mentors. Continual improvement is always top of mind; outside of work you’re often found learning through reading, podcasts, and building your network. • A careful listener . Active listening is a core competency for any sales role. You’ll use your communication and emotional intelligence to surface relevant details, overcome objections, and empathize with the needs of our clients. This is the perfect role for someone with some exposure to high-volume sales (telesales, business development) or other fast-paced customer-facing roles (retail, restaurants). More than anything, we’re looking for strong professional communication skills, a competitive nature, and a hunger to build a career in tech sales. What you’ll get in return: Our benefits go well beyond the basics. To support your work-life integration, we built a benefits program that takes care of the whole person, including physical, mental, financial, and emotional health. • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance to all full-time employees. Best part? You’ll be eligible on day one. • 401k. We offer a 401k and a 3% company contribution (even better than a match) to help you get ready to retire no matter how far off that seems. • Parental leave. We take care of new parents by offering paid time off for births, adoptions, and fostering. • Paid Time Off. Outstanding time off benefits. • Mentorship. Our office-based culture fosters meaningful learning, growth, and mentorship for our team.
