Job description

Jobber helps small home service businesses - plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers - quote, schedule, invoice and get paid, while giving their customers an easy and professional experience. Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work and Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Teammate Growth to be part of our AI Workflows product organization. The team: Jobber Teammate is an AI teammate for home service businesses. It tracks where everything stands, catches what slipped, drafts the routine work so the owner only has to approve it, and increasingly just does it. The role: You'll own how Teammate reaches service providers and becomes the way they run their business. AI adoption among our customers is growing fast, but most service providers still work the way they always have. Teammate is our bet that AI stops being a feature some customers try and becomes how the work gets done. You'll own two motions at once: Teammate as a reason someone chooses Jobber, and Teammate as what turns our existing customers into AI-native ones. Discovery, first value, habit, advocacy. Onboarding and activation are product experiences you own and build, not campaigns. You'll hold the product half of a partnership with Growth, Product Marketing and Marketing. As Senior Product Manager you will: - Build a deep understanding of home service businesses and what actually makes them change how they work. - Own the Teammate growth model end to end: discovery, onboarding, first value, habit, advocacy. - Drive net-new acquisition and existing-customer conversion as one strategy - Build AI onboarding and activation directly, and iterate on them with real customers. - Define the metrics that show whether Teammate is changing how service providers run their business, and act when they aren't moving. - Build the evidence of what Teammate is worth and a clear path to monetisation. To be successful, you should have: - 5+ years of product management experience, with evidence of shipping real AI products and seeing them through to long-term outcomes. - A growth mindset and someone who thrives in change and ambiguity. The AI Org you’ll join is a fast moving space and we expect that the technology, positioning, scope and roles will all continue to evolve as we learn together - Experience owning an AI adoption curve end to end - acquisition through activation to retention - rather than a backlog of isolated experiments. - A track record of taking AI products from early adopters to mainstream usage inside an existing customer base. - Comfort with products whose behaviour is non-deterministic, and the judgment to design around a first impression you can't fully control. Bonus points if you have: - Experience in home services, field service, or SMB software. - Background in product-led growth with both self-serve and sales-assisted motions. Hiring Process: - An interview with a Talent team member (45 mins) - A Hiring Manager Interview (60 mins) - A take-home challenge with a follow-up Functional Interview (90 mins) - A Senior Leadership Interview (30 mins) Location: We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person. This role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Boston. Compensation: At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and supportive of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $145,900, a midpoint of $171,600, and a maximum salary of $197,400, designed to reflect the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling. We design our compensation to reflect each new hire's skills, experience, and the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual's current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth. Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us too! You'll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development. We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we're happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process! What you can expect from Jobber: - A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, matching in RRSP, TFSA or FHSA, and stock options. - A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential. - A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet. - To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers. We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process. A bit more about us: Job by job, we’re transforming the way service is delivered. Your lawn care provider, home cleaning service, plumber or painter could use Jobber to better connect with their customers, save time in the office, invoice faster, and get paid! We’re bringing tens of thousands of people together with technology to deliver billions of dollars a year in services to happy customers. Jobber exists to help make these small businesses successful, and when they’re successful we all win!
