Job description

ABOUT AIROPS AirOps is the full-service platform for brand growth in the age of AI search. As consumers shift from traditional search engines to platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, the entire ruleset of growth is being rewritten. Buyers now rely on agents to discover, recommend, and purchase products and services for them. If your brand isn't part of the answer, you aren't in the running. Our platform offers everything a brand needs to get found, recommended, and earn trust. We work with category leaders, including teams at Ramp, Chime, Airbnb, ServiceNow, and Rippling, to drive visibility and accelerate growth from AI search. Backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective, we're headquartered in San Francisco, New York, and Montevideo. ABOUT THE ROLE AirOps is building the product content teams use to win in AI search — and this role is about turning hard problems into experiences people actually love. We’re hiring a Product Engineer to prototype quickly, ship customer-visible features, and iterate based on real feedback in days, not quarters. You’ll work tightly with Design and Product, talk directly with customers, and help define what “great” looks like as we scale. If you have strong product taste, deep customer empathy, and love taking ideas from zero to one, you’ll be excited about this seat. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Design, prototype, and launch AI-powered products that solve real user problems — from early concept through scaled feature - Direct customer engagement: understand needs, validate ideas quickly, and iterate based on what you learn - Cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and data teams to take features from idea to production at startup speed - Navigate ambiguity: define what to build when the path forward is not clear - Keep systems fast and reliable under real-world usage WHO YOU ARE: - 3+ years building products that people love, with demonstrated experience taking ideas from zero to one - Track record of shipping quickly while maintaining quality — you know when to move fast and when to be thorough - Strong product taste paired with deep customer empathy - Thrives in ambiguous, fast-changing environments where requirements shift and customer feedback drives decisions - Outstanding communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences NICE TO HAVES - Excitement about AI and its application in product experiences - Experience working with Python and strong ML or LLM knowledge - Experience with evals - History of direct customer engagement OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES 1. Extreme Ownership 2. Quality 3. Curiosity and Play 4. Make Our Customers Heroes 5. Respectful Candor BENEFITS - Equity in a fast-growing startup - Competitive benefits package tailored to your location - Flexible time off policy - Parental Leave - A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
