A global financial institution is hiring a senior security engineer to implement and improve enterprise security platforms. The role combines technical delivery, integration, automation, and troubleshooting across endpoint, network, access, and monitoring services. You will work with engineering and operations partners to deliver reliable platforms with clear documentation and effective ongoing support. RESPONSIBILITIES Implement, replace, deploy, and upgrade security platforms.Configure tools and integrate them with enterprise infrastructure.Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve underlying causes.Develop automation for repeatable delivery and support tasks.Maintain governance documentation and operational instructions.Prepare services for successful handover to operations.Coordinate technical support and product questions with vendors.Support monitoring requirements and participate in on-call coverage. Role Requirements 5 7+ years of relevant security engineering or related experience.Hands-on enterprise security-platform implementation and support.Experience deploying and upgrading tools.VMware or similar virtualization, next-generation firewall, and SASE experience.SIEM experience.Linux/Windows, DNS, and IP-networking knowledge.Scripting/coding ability for automation.Strong troubleshooting and incident-response lifecycle understanding.Relevant BS/MS educational background.Strong communication, documentation, and independent execution skills.Ability to meet the NYC hybrid schedule and participate in on-call coverage. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Financial-services experience.Splunk experience.Python and PowerShell.Previous systems administration, network administration, or desktop engineering.
