Job Description
Our sports and entertainment client is seeking a Freelance Brand and Visual Designer for a contract opportunity. This role will support the creative and marketing team in bringing brand stories to life through thoughtful, visually distinctive digital design. This is a temporary role. The ideal candidate is a digital-first designer who combines strong conceptual thinking with exceptional execution. With an eye for detail and a deep understanding of contemporary design, this individual will create compelling visual experiences that connect with audiences, strengthen brand identity and support a range of marketing initiatives across digital channels.
• Pay Rate: $45.00/hour
Responsibilities:
• Design engaging digital creative for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, digital advertising and other online platforms
• Develop brand-forward visual assets that communicate creative concepts clearly and consistently across multiple touchpoints
• Apply and extend established brand identities through typography, color, layout, imagery and cohesive visual systems
• Partner with creative and marketing teams to transform briefs, campaign objectives and strategic direction into impactful design solutions
• Explore creative concepts and visual directions that balance brand consistency with fresh, relevant ideas
• Produce and adapt design assets for various formats, placements and audience segments
• Manage projects from concept through final delivery, incorporating feedback and maintaining a high standard of quality
• Balance multiple assignments and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of professional experience in brand design, visual design or digital creative
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, brand development, digital campaigns and creative versatility
• Proficiency in Figma
• Strong foundational design skills, including typography, composition, color theory, layout and visual hierarchy
• Ability to interpret creative direction and translate it into polished, audience-focused design
• A strong understanding of digital platforms, contemporary visual trends and brand consistency across channels
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and incorporate feedback
• A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
• Experience in entertainment, media, streaming or lifestyle brands is a plus
