Financial Additions has a great contract-to-hire opportunity for an experienced staff accountant. This is a hybrid role located near Carrollton, Texas. Responsibilities include: Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger Prepare financial statements and assist with external reporting and audits Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and analyses Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Qualifications include: 2-3 years in a staff-level accounting position (with JE, GL, reconciliation, and analysis duties, etc.) Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Stong Excel skills (must know PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) Experience with ERP or accounting software Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance #INDD #ZR
