Software Infrastructure Engineer - Repository

• Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Extensive experience in software configuration management, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on Git administration and enterprise repository governance.
• Experience with artifact/package/container registries and secure software-supply-chain controls.

• GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Azure Repos, Bitbucket, Git LFS, DVC, Artifactory, Nexus, SBOM,

• Roles & Responsibilities
• Establish and operate secure source-control and artifact-management practices for data, AI,
• simulation, infrastructure, and test assets.
• Design repository structure, branching, pull-request, review, merge, tagging, release, and archival
• Configure identity, team permissions, protected branches, code ownership, secrets controls, and
• auditability.
• Define approaches for large files, datasets, model artifacts, containers, packages, and reusable
• Integrate repositories with CI/CD, code quality, security scanning, issue tracking, and release
• Create migration, backup, recovery, retention, and developer-onboarding guidance.
• Managerial Skills
• Own repository governance and create developer-onboarding guidance for engineering teams.
