Job description

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, electricians, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers, while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want. Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers youtube.com. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Supply to be part of our Ecosystem product organization. The team: Materials are one of the largest costs in a home service business. We're helping home service businesses manage this side of their work, connecting the supply chain directly into Jobber so service pros can find, price, and manage materials as part of their everyday workflows. The role: We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who is excited to connect a whole new part of the ecosystem into Jobber, solving problems for service providers at every step of their workflow. From the plumber who needs to know a quote will actually be profitable, to the contractor who needs parts to show up on time to keep a job on track.. In this role, you’ll own the strategy and execution behind Jobber Supply. You’ll work across a genuinely broad product surface: supplier catalog integrations, real-time and account-specific pricing, materials and cost management, and purchase orders. You’ll be doing it while sitting alongside Business Development in live supplier partnership cycles, technical evaluations, and roadmap conversations with some of the largest supply partners in North America. You'll identify where material workflows break down for service pros today, where the gap between what a job was quoted at and what it actually cost erodes their margins, and where the biggest opportunities are to make Jobber the obvious place where materials and everyday workflows come together to make their business more profitable. This role is a strong fit for someone who is deeply customer-curious, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in zero-to-one territory. Someone who can lead supplier partnership conversations, build internal influence, work through data models with engineers, and see how everything flows across the end-to-end workflow without losing the thread. You should be excited to own outcomes for service professionals and Jobber. As Senior Product Manager you will: - Build a deep understanding of our customers: home service businesses (such as plumbing companies, landscapers, electricians etc.) and how they source, price, order, and track the materials that power their jobs. - Drive complex, business-critical Supply product initiatives. Define a vision, strategy, and roadmap that spans supplier catalogs, materials management, and job costing. - Prioritize opportunities into a cohesive product roadmap that ties customer needs and supplier partners with Jobber’s business goals and competitive landscape. - Synthesize learnings across the material ecosystem into common denominator product investments, - Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic bets that span across workflows. - Partner closely with other departments across the company (e.g. Business Development, Sales, Success, Product Marketing, and more) to launch and scale new ideas. - Define and monitor key product metrics across discovery, adoption, revenue, and engagement to track the success of your bets, stepping in when things are not tracking with business goals. - Engage and cultivate relationships with service pros and supplier partners to influence shared cross-team directions and manage risks or trade-offs. Communicate clearly and crisply with leadership stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams. To be successful, you should have: - 5+ years of product management experience, with evidence of shipping real things and seeing them through to long-term outcomes. - Experience taking a new product or product area from zero to one: shaping strategy amid ambiguity, validating with customers, and earning adoption. - A track record of influencing roadmap decisions across teams you don’t own, using customer evidence and business cases rather than authority. - Experience building on or integrating with external platforms and partners: catalogs, APIs, commerce, or marketplace-style products. - Comfort operating across a broad product surface rather than going deep on a single area. Bonus points if you have: - Experience in home services, construction, distribution, or supply chain environments. - Familiarity with partnership or BD-adjacent product work, including roadmap alignment with external partners. - Experience with pricing, job costing, or margin-focused products. Location: We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect. To support this, the role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo. Compensation: At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and supportive of your experience and growth. Our salary ranges are designed to reflect the progression from learning the role to truly excelling. This role has an annual salary of: Canada: minimum annual salary of $145,900 CAD, a midpoint of $171,600, and a maximum salary of $197,400 CAD. We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience, and the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth. Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development. We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process! What you can expect from Jobber: - A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, matching in RRSP, TFSA or FHSA, and stock options. - A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential. - A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet. - To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers. We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process. A bit more about us: Job by job, we’re transforming the way service is delivered. Your lawn care provider, home cleaning service, plumber or painter could use Jobber to better connect with their customers, save time in the office, invoice faster, and get paid! We’re bringing tens of thousands of people together with technology to deliver billions of dollars a year in services to happy customers. Jobber exists to help make these small businesses successful, and when they’re successful we all win!
